Matsui is older than a Dinosaur. Lets have our last memory of Matsui be him killing Pedro in Game 6 of the 2009 World Series. I don't want to see a washed has been in Matsui play out his final days with the Yankees.

y not? without matui arod would never ever come close to sniffing a championship.

matsui= clutch

yankees fans would rather have matsui up in a key situation than Afraud

No they should not and btw BIGDOG1 there is no game 6 in 2009 without AROD he had so many big hits that year his biggest being the go ahead rbi double in game 4 to give us a 3-1 series lead

Im pretty sure they are gonna sign Ibanez. Matsui still has pop but I think that page has turned. The guy I would have loved them to get was Vlad. Hes way over the hill but hes one of my fave players and I would have love to have seen him in Yank uni.

Right now, A-Rod scares me in the field more than sticking Matsui in the OF.

Matsui has a lot of class...and is the hitter that can dial up what you need but Yanks want a hitter that still scares guys on the mound. Vlad is not what he was but still carries that respect.
