Anybody know what the communication is like between Otis Smith and SVG? Does SVG have his input on what kind of players he would like on the team?

I think that deserves its own thread.

If Dwight opts in into his finally year, I wouldn't mind taking Gil back for cheap. I think one year after amnestying a player you can bring him back.

They would if we could dig up some naked photos of their GM.

They may do a Hedo/Duhon for Jackson/Udrih being that the Bucks really want to get out of Udrih's contract.

As much as I'd hate to lose Redick, I'd do that trade.

which of our problems does sending away Hedo and getting SJax solves?

Imagine steve averages 20.7 in 39 minutes with %40 and %36 beyond the line. in his BEST season. he used to defend back in the day, too. he no longer could do that for the last 3-4 seasons.

so tell me, why? i would understand gutting the team for monta, whom i am not a fan of, but sjax? if nothing, dude has a horrible attitude. Dwight has been a saint in comparison...

the ONLY way SJax for hedo would make sense is if we send duhon and get udrih and ilyasova with him extended to decent contract.

desperate people make desperate moves i guess.

Brings in a wing defender. Someone to guard Kobe, LBJ, Wade, Durant, Melo, PP34.

doubtful. maybe if we did hedo+clark for jackson/livingston. we have a tpe we could use to save them some money from the davis trade i believe.

jackson's contract expires sooner and he has more game left than turk. he would also bring more energy/toughness and i believe we would compete better with him.

also jackson gives us an iso option to our offense

again, he is not the defender he once was. even when he was good, he wasn't an elite defender.

even under that assumption that you are right, it still doesnt make sense. orlando's problem is not the defense. what good is holding miami to 85 points when we can only score 60.

heard about the rumors about rose wanting gasol..and the trade being centered around boozer. but LA doesn't want boozer so mabye we could get involved. this is what i came up with.

trade 1

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=87oy7nm

trade 2

magic tpe 4.2m for warrick

trade 3

reddick,clark,harper,qrich,2012 1st, 2013 1st for nash

nash/duhon
jrich/wafer
turk/wafer
boozer/warrick/baby
dwight/asik/

contenders?

i give up.

no point in discussing a guy with like 10 years of pro career with people who didn't watch him play for 5 whole games. you are trading for a guy who only exists in your mind.

hold hands and get malik allen for all i care.

Indeed. Gives me a new perspective on Agent Zero. He's been around long enough to understand the business side of the NBA so he understood that he was going to be amnestied and doesn't harbor any hard feelings about it. And that's good advice he gave Dwight too.
