Imagine steve averages 20.7 in 39 minutes with %40 and %36 beyond the line. in his BEST season. he used to defend back in the day, too. he no longer could do that for the last 3-4 seasons.

so tell me, why? i would understand gutting the team for monta, whom i am not a fan of, but sjax? if nothing, dude has a horrible attitude. Dwight has been a saint in comparison...

the ONLY way SJax for hedo would make sense is if we send duhon and get udrih and ilyasova with him extended to decent contract.

desperate people make desperate moves i guess.

Brings in a wing defender. Someone to guard Kobe, LBJ, Wade, Durant, Melo, PP34.

again, he is not the defender he once was. even when he was good, he wasn't an elite defender.

even under that assumption that you are right, it still doesnt make sense. orlando's problem is not the defense. what good is holding miami to 85 points when we can only score 60.

Well if you brought him in a 3 way trade and also recieved Nash, you'll score more than 60. I think bringing in Capt Jack with Nash would be best. Having Nash and Hedo on the same team would cut down Hedo's ball handling IMO.

You are telling me you would rather have this lineup,

Jameer
J Rich
Hedo
Ryno
Dwight

than this one,

Nash
J Rich
Capt Jack
Ryno
Dwight

????????????? :dontknow:

if only we had guys that could attack the rim at positions 1-3. Anderson would spread the floor not only for dwight but also create driving lanes for the slashers. we have nobody who can get past their defender into the open driving lanes.

I'd be hesitant to give up Anderson .. I'd rather not do this trade

This would also mean more Baby .. And well, that's not working out very well this season

Baby + Duhon For Jackson?

Felton/J.Rich/Jackson/G.Wallace/Dwight is one sick lineup.

I don't think Wallace can play the PF .. I know he played it at some point, but right now I doubt it. The thought of him guarding much bigger PF's is also not really satisfying. Especially when you see Ryan doing damage at the PF against the league's best PF's ..

I like your idea of trading for Wallace, I'm a big Wallace fan too .. But not at the cost of Ryan

If you somehow could acquire Wallace without giving up Ryan .. Wallace/Ryan/Dwight, that's a very strong frontcourt ..

what best PF's has he been good against? Bosh? not so much. 13 vs Kevin Love, 10 vs Blake Griffin, 12 and then 11 vs David West, 12 vs KG, 0 vs KG, 13 vs Gasol, 5 vs Boozer, 8 vs Scola.

Dont get me wrong, i like Anderson, but he has played his best against the lesser PF's of the league, not their best.

wallace is shooting FG's better than Turk, scoring more points on the same amount of shots, shooting more FT's, and impacts the game defensively besides expiring.

He did drop 25 on Ibaka & 21 on J-Smith (2 best defensive PFs) & had his 2 best games of the season vs Bosh & Stoudemire & had a 24pt game vs David West ..

But I know what you mean too, don't get me wrong .. He has been a lot better than last season. He has consistently been our 2nd best & sometimes even our best player

I would hold on to him for as long as possible .. Like a lot of people here said, only trade him if you get a guy like Ellis back .. Wallace aint no Ellis, no matter how good he still is

Wallace is younger than both Jameer & Hedo.....

Ironically enough, Jameer & Hedo are the ones who are "old and can't shoot"

No, because we risk losing both in next offseason.
