It was a solid win, we played well, but the Magic were terrible today.

It's their terrible offense. They're feast or famine with that 3-ball. Today, we closed out hard. We forced guys off their spot today more than often, and that helped. PEACE.

This. The Magic have no chance against a team like the Heat in a 7 game series. They make 15 3's on 40+% and they look great. Otherwise that offense is atrocious.

I was actually talking about their overall effort, but when their threes aren't falling, they can't build any momentum and thus no energy either.

@Tim: 37% is still a solid number and enough to be respected as a shooter by the opponent, which is all we really need to offer more space to our main weapons.

Yep.Ball movement, easier points, consistent 3pt shooting, pushing the tempo to utilize talents and better chemistry and you can even say more luck is on our side(seemed like all the wrong bounces happened late in games, rather than this year where it seems execution is on point).Which is why I always laugh at the notion that Bulls fans give like their the only team that improved while Heat stayed stagnant.

37% is OK, but not a great number for a guy whose only job is to take the wide open ones. Shane himself knows he has room to improve there.

But yes, between it not being that bad and his past rep, he does his job by spacing the floor.

After his rough start to the season Battier's currently shooting 46% from three-point range for the month of February.
