I'm not sure if it has been posted here before, but I've seen it on the Trade Board:
WAS trades: Nick Young
LAL trades: Josh McRoberts
It gets the Lakers another desperately needed wing scorer. It gets us some value for Young (assuming we're prepared to let him walk this summer). McRoberts could be a Nick Collison type of player for us. He's a capable big man on a friendly contract who can stick an open jumper and play intelligently. If we end up drafting a PF this summer, then we can look to move McRoberts for something else. At least we end up with value instead of letting Young walk for nothing.
The Lakers struggled to score 40 in the first half against the Suns today. They got blown out. This would be a good deal for them. They can certainly use Nick and LAL would be the place for him to prosper.
What I would love is to expand this idea and somehow force the Lakers to take Andray Blatche.
Lakers don't want to add salary though.
