Pargo over Hinrich
Kirk has looked bad since he got back and i hate how he has been taking minutes away from Pargo.
Pargo actually helps the Hawks and contributes.
i know Kirk is on the decline, but i'm surprised how IQ has gotten worst and gone down. i though we could depend on Kirk for at least making the right play and not making and bonehead plays, but all he has been doing is making bonehead plays.
Pargo goes on a 9-0 run, then on the next trip, Kirk dribbles the ball all over the court, under the basket, he then gets the mismatch with a post player, while Zaza has Brewer on him and only 3 feet away from the basket, and Kirk makes the bonehead play of taking a long off balance jump shot, instead of either setting up a play for Pargo, dumping it into Zaza, or penetrating against the slower post player.
that was the key possession for the Hawks and killed the run and whole team. Kirk totally blew it for everybody on the Hawks.

Hinrich has become one of the worst players in the NBA. I told Hawks not to use him at SG. But no.
Hinrich can go "bugger off". Just trade him I dont care what it gets back. March 1st seems too far and too many games to wait.
Playing him is singlehandedly tanking the team with his lacking production. In-fccking-credible

They arent playing him at the 2 guard....which is why this thread is sbout benching him so our back up point gets his minutes back

Kirk played the 2 defensively (some zone) and offensively today.
McGrady had been playing point w/ Pargo at the 2 offensively of course.

how the hell is Hinrich a SG when he and Willie have been coming off the bench first and taking minutes away from Pargo and TMac.

This is no revelation. The Bulls game just further proves that the rotation is all messed up and people that could be contributed are not getting time because LD and Hinrich coming back killed the teams chemistry.

of course it is all messed up in the bulls game, Marvin and Joe were not in the game.
Josh, TMac, Kirk and Pargo had a good flow going, but Drew should have pulled Kirk half way during the come back and put Willie in when the lead was cut to 4.
of the elite teams, Hawks are the best 3pt shooting team in the group. its no wonder why the Bulls and Magic struggle against the Hawks, Bulls and Magic can't defend the 3pt line, and that is the Hawks' MO, nailing 3s.

Has nothing to do with it. The rotation has been messed up since Kirk came back even when Marvin and Joe are playing. Pargo has not even been getting minutes lately since Kirk came back.

Yep. Drew has screwed the minutes of a bench unit that had great chemistry and also a starting unit that had chemistry ALL with one guy. Hinrich has cut Teagues minutes, eliminated Pargos and limitied Tmacs. All while playing MUCH worse than all 3 of them. Why the coaching staff can't see this is beyond me.

Makes you wonder what they'd do with Al if he makes a playoff return. Force him into the starting lineup for 38 minutes a game while Vlad takes a seat next to Ivan's recently dug hole.

Re: Pargo over Hinrich
Hinrich's not nearly as bad as some of y'all claim - he's just coming off of surgery.
Problem is, he's here for only one year. If he can't perform (because he's still gaining his strength back) he'd be better used by us in a trade. Besides, Pargo appears to the be the 3pt.-shooter Drew wants for that position.
Now, if the plan is to keep Hinrich beyond this year, I'm wrong.

My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

Oh, he has. Kirk has multiple "I will be the only one that will touch the ball on this possession" plays. He is missing cutters, making bad cuts, overplaying defensively which is leading to free runs to the basket, missing layups, missing jumpers....he isn't providing ANYTHING on the court right now.
On the other hand, the guys who's minutes he is taking were ALL playing better. I'm not blaming Kirk, he has obviously missed alot of time, but there is no reason he should be getting 30 minutes of playing time...like...ever.

The team has a losing record with Kirk both years he has been here. Your opinion of what is bad and not may be what needs some adjusting. Your opinion of what one guy can do to chemistry may also need to be looked into.
