The Lakers don't have jack to trade back other than late firsts, which we really don't need.
Sounds like more LA media BS. They are our competition, no sense helping them get better if there is no upside in it for us.

How about Bynum for Beas, Luke, AR and Darko. It works;

That makes way more sense for us then Pau, Pek can play a bit of PF for fun, and when Bynum breaks we have a great backup ;)

And we still have Williams to aquire a wing, or teach how to play SF.

Yeah, that's the problem. LA just doesn't have the pieces for us (or anyone else unless the trade Pau). I don't mind sending Beas to LAL but we have to get something in return.

What about LAL sending their late firsts to Milwaukee and the Bucks sending Delfino here?

That's not a horrible idea, Delfino is an expiring though, only a $3.5 million contract. I think Khan could just sign him in the off season if he wanted him, no sense moving Beas.
I'm not sure why we are supposed to help LA though, they are the competition :)

The Lakers are screwed, they can't get anything without trading Gasol and They are way overvaluing Gasol's value. My guess is they keep him and Bynum will have his annual injury and they will miss the playoffs

I think getting the raw cap space to put us $7M under the cap plus a late first isn't too bad. That $7M in cap space would look valuable to other teams that are perhaps trying to get rid of players (M. WIlliams, Shawn Marion, etc.)

I don´t understand why we would be interested in that scenario (apart from economical reasons for the owners, of course- but that´s not in our interest as fans). $7M is less than what lakers have for Odoms TE and the best player they wish they could get to fill that void is Beasley. Why do we think that we are capable to get a better SF than Lakers for the same money and in the same situation?
