We need to make our FA move on Nic Batum.

He's playing a little too good recently so I don't know if the Kings could nab him for one of JT/Hickson anymore, but Petrie needs to make that call now. Get his rights for the summer and give it time this season to gell.

JJ Hickson was traded from the Cavs to the Kings last season, and things aren’t exactly working out for him in Sac-Town.

He tells the Plain Dealer that he wouldn’t mind returning to Cleveland next year: “The former Cavalier forward was at The Q with his new team and sounded like a player who would rather be almost anywhere except Sacramento.

At the Kings’ media day in December, Hickson asked whether rumors about the team moving to Anaheim were true. He was heard to say, ‘I really like Anaheim.’

Hickson was asked if he could make it work with the Kings’ organization. After a pregnant pause, he responded: ‘Uh, yeah. I think so, yeah.’ [...] Would Hickson want to return to the Cavs next season? ‘Of course, why not?’ he said. ‘I’m not saying ‘no, I don’t want to come back.’ If the opportunity presented itself, why not?’”

Hickson is a joke. The only good thing going for him is keeping possession alive with his rebounding/tips. But even that, he has been horrible. He thinks he can shoot, can't hold onto simple passes, low IQ.

I pick up a flyer on Marvin.

He's like the Thompson of SFs. Jack of all trades, master of none type of players. Doesn't do anything great but does everything at a decent level.

^No thanks. He wants a bigger offensive role and all we want is defense and spot up shooting (he's not even really good at that). Plus, I think we're at our inflated ego max right now.

EDIT: Whoa, I had no idea he was shooting 44% from three. That's really good.
