Injuries are part of the game. Do you want them to wait until Deng is healthy then play the game?

Is this thread a monthly requirement on the General Board or something?

Because the question was not asking about which team can beat Miami. It was asking about which team had the best chance of beating Miami.

And only a (Please Use More Appropriate Word) smartass would answer a question like that with "no one".

The ONLY two teams that can beat Heat are OKC, amd NYK, anybody who has been watching the Heat since they aquired LeBron knows that. Kevin Durant, and Perkins on one side, Carmelo Anthony, and Tyson Chandler on another side. Saying that, it will all comes to the Heat ability to close. The Heat can score on anybody, no matter how many of you make the LeBron 4th quarter jokes, Can the Heat stop the Knicks, or the Thunder at the end of the game and most important rebound the basketball when they get stops ?

Why?

If we're going by the logic that teams played close games. That Bulls-Indy series was a very tight series w/o game 5. Indy is also playing better this year than last and has already beat Chicago in Chicago.

I'm not saying I agree with the logic, but that is what has been presented in this thread...

If A was close to B, and B was close to C; does that mean B is close to C by that logic?

Meaning, If the Bulls were closely played with Indy, and the bulls were closely played by Miami - Can't an argument be made that Indy can keep up w/ miami?

Im sure you don't believe that logic, but some people need to chill with logic theory here (bulls fan included).

Heat fans know that outside of the bulls...there really isn't anyone threatening them. If anyone says that the Heat would rather play the Bulls over Indy is just being delusional at that point.

I think only OKC, Lakers and the Bulls may have a shot.
But OKC will earn my pick if only one.

The dude never has anything positive to say about LeBron/Miami so im just throwing "facts" out there like he is.

Actually, nothing you said was a fact. What I said was a fact though.

Since this is basically a prediction thread, I say Dallas vs. Miami in the finals. Dallas still has the good d,iq,nowitzki advantage. I don't know about chicago, I still give the edge to miami there.

You guys certainly aren't going to like this but...
The Orlando Magic
(assuming they don't trade Dwight away)

Heat have problems with teams who's main attack is ball movement and three pointers. That's a huge reason why the mavs were able to beat the Heat last year. They over-help on their defense and leave shooters wide open. This will be great for the magic if they can get someone like Jameer Nelson penetrating a little bit.

Also the fact that Dwight is sitting in the lane not guarding anyone, will make it harder for Lebron and Wade to get dunks. They will rely on the jumpshot more, which we know at times can be inconsistant.

Bosh can't seem to score on Ryan Anderson for some unknown reason.

Oh and the Heat-Magic series is 3-3 (4-4 including preseason) in the big 3 era.

Good joke.

The Magic are a one-trick pony, if their 3's aren't dropping, they lose... period. That translates to terrible playoff basketball.

And I guess you didn't figure out from last year that regular season records mean absolutely nothing. FYI the Bulls swept the Heat during the regular season last year. Look how that turned out...

While Indiana is a different team than they are last year (and will be a tough out this year), the last year Pacers played the Bulls eight times, one twice and lost three games by 25+.

The Bulls played the Heat eight times last year, won four of those games and two of the loses occurred in OT and by 3 points. How can you compare the Bulls and Pacers to the Bulls and Heat and say they're similar?

Should the Bulls v Pacers in a future playoff series be judged without noting that Deng (currently playing), wasn't playing in that game? Indy can take from it what they wish. A logical person would say "hey, Deng didn't play in that game, it's probably not a 100% representation of a Bulls team in the playoffs"

uber close meaning a 10.5 points per game differential after game 1..... don't want to add them up but it appears as if the philly series was closer overall

Uber close as in one game went into overtime and another game Heat won by only 3 points. Imagine if the Bulls made those two last second shots during game 4 and game 5, yea the series would have been 3-2 Bulls lead.

The series was close. Very close.

Why wouldn't the Knicks (currently one of the most loaded teams in the NBA that has 2 guys that have given the Heat superstuds problems) be on the list?

As is, I'll go with the Bulls, Clips and Thunder. Don't really see any of the other teams named being able to beat the Heat in 7.
