We could have really used him in Miami.

Good, was not gonna help, the Heat better sign this guy Fesenko, he is a very good defender, rebound well, and QUICK which is important to fit in our defensive system.

I like the Fesenko idea but, I think quick is not an adjective I'd use to describe him. He's average speed for a 7 footer, which is by no means quick.

I am not saying he is Wade quick, but for a 7 footer i would consider him quick. He fould a lot thu, that is my only problem with him.

Trust me, this is a good thing. Didn't want him from the start. Had no clue why people were excited over him.

Seriously

Idk why anybody would want one of these big lumbering centers.

They aren't gonna play at all

And freaking Fensenko? Might as well play Pittman.

I'm sure he watched a bunch of games and realized "Holy hell if I go there I have to do a lot of running. Ok Portland it is." I don't think this is that bad of thing to have happen, maybe he'd help on the glass but I don't see him being able to do what Miami requires from their bigs.

Wait, so his highlight video ends with him talking about asking out of a game because he was afraid of FTs? Am I missing something? Sorry their faces said "we're supposed to be winning this game." Whatever that means...Looks like that's our visiting lockerroom, so they won after we got Millslapped.

Exactly

Miami needs a Deandre Jordan, Tyson Chandler, Dwight Howard, Mcgee type

Not some big ass center that can't cover pick and roll.

Which is why I went from ecstasy to agony when we passed over Hassan Whiteside (after a DeAndre Jordan-like fall) to pick Pittman (who someone on this board was actually championing before anyone knew Riley was interested, I even remember a mix being posted of him dunking on guys in the post), on draft night 2010. Whiteside will surprise people in a couple of years, as he's still raw. His offensive game is way ahead of Jordan's schedule, but he's just as athletic and long. He would've been great there and really complimented Bosh.

I like Pitt, but his ceiling is much lower. Part of the reason we chose him was his spending 4 years in college would give him a leg up to produce quicker. Well, he's in his second year on a team that would kill for a semi-productive C and he's still mostly buried on the bench. He's already behind schedule.

Good luck getting one off the waivers for the veteran minimum then.

Didn't care one way or another.

Bosh, Lebron, Haslem, Wade, Miller

That is our goto lineup. Some scrub that will sit the bench except for a few spot minutes here and there (not even per game) isn't anything to get up or down about.

At first I wanted him, then this team just went to another level, and he would just slow us down. Last thing we needed was another guy trying to acclimate himself in the NBA once again....

But good for him. He does have a home in Portland I believe, and that's where he played before so it's understandable. Probably wanted to try to help his old team with Oden out... again... for a long ass time...

Oh no Riley loses the "Troy Murphy" sweepstakes again! This guy is irrelevant, would have made no difference.

And speaking of Fesenko, it seems weird he'd even consider us. Idk, it's just one of those guys to me. Like, as someone else mentioned, Troy Murphy. Dude didn't fit seem to fit, and wouldn't have.

Just cultivate Pittman...

This. Even that is overkill. We don't REALLY need a center most of the time. Our best lineup has Bosh at center.

You guys need a guy like Asik imo. Low Pay who is a good defender and is a good rebounder. Any scoring is a bonus.
