Matt Vasgersian was on WKLH this morning and said they were going to go to Yu Darvish's press conference in Surprise but were instructed to go to Maryvale instead.

Means he's gonna be guilty and they are preparing to interview all of the teammates about it I think.

I doubt the Brewers would allow that.

I guess I can't read too much into that in terms of guilt or innocence. It was always a long shot that he would get off, but I think they would want their people down there to report on the decision no matter the outcome.

If MLB announces a suspension I can't imagine the Brewers having a press conference at their spring training facility. They'll play it as low key as possible.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

That doesn't mean that MLB Network won't be outside the gates of the Maryvale Baseball Center or whatever it's called.

That's true, there's no doubt the media would be there, since so many are in Arizona anyway. But if MV actually said "press conference" then I would think that's something the Brewers organize and in that case I don't think they'd do so for a "guilty" verdict. I'm surprised we've heard nothing from TH if something were going down today.

I just want to get it over with.

Exactly. The only thing to read into this right now is that a decision is probably coming today. We don't even know who notified MLB Network to go to Maryvale.

Tom @Haudricourt
I've had no indication that Ryan Braun verdict will be today.

All of this reeks of MLB looking for an exit strategy that isn't damaging to their "normally impervious" testing scheme.

True. If Braun does get out of this they have to be careful that other players can't do the same thing.

This situation found a flaw in the testing system, which has been the epitome of black and white since it's been installed. What Braun was doing wasn't intended to enhance his performance, but registered in the test. Now MLB is trying to figure out a way to not expose the flaws in the system they've been championing, even if Braun didn't technically do anything wrong.

They interviewed Vasgersian on channel 4. He said he visited with everyone associated with the Brewers today. While saying he had not been given any specific inside information from anyone, based on his discussions, he came away with the belief that Braun will be cleared.

Heyman seems to think the decision comes today or tomorrow because Braun has to report tomorrow.
