So Kaman is the only option now?

We'll need a center once Dwight joins a superfriend or two, but this season, I don't see it being an issue. None of our immediate competition have an all-time center. It's not like with the Jordan bulls where they needed a center just to put in front of guys like Ewing, Hakeem, Shaq, David Robinson. There's Dwight and Bynum, and we've shown we can shut both of those guys down with our current roster.

Kaman is the only center I'd consider really signing. Otherwise we're better off just playing Bosh/Anthony as our center rotation. Our best lineup is with Bosh at center. And we rarely actually play a center on the floor.

It won't show up in the box score, but the Heat privately track the number of times that their players "contain" or corral opposing penetrators away from the painted area. Empirically, Anthony has done this one task better than anybody they've ever had in a Heat uniform.

Impressive
