1-15 in our division last year....ouch.
I love that this team seems to actually play quite well on the road. That bodes well for the future IMO, shows some mental toughness and poise for a young team.

We need to build more of a home court advantage. Losing against the Cavs, Grizz (without Randolph) or Houston at home is what will cost us the playoffs.

Factor in Pace. Opponents will unavoidably try to match pace of play.

Field Goal percentage and Pace play a factor in this as well, I would imagine.
Last year: 99.2
This year: 96.2

3 pt shooting % is down this year as well. Wes' missed open shots alone probably account for at least one missed assist per game.

Also, I suspect there are more "team assists" this year from better ball movement that don't get counted.

A big change from last year is FTA last year we lost the FT battle 27-24 attempts a game, this year we are winning it 26-21.5.

My 2 take-aways...
Keep the Pek-a-saurus inside and on the free-throw line ... it's just good business.
Get a good SG using up some combo of WesLess, MeasleyBeasley, WebHead, etc....
Play DW 20+ minutes/game @ SF/PF ... boy must develop

Real Super Dave @SuperStatsDave
With tonight's win, #Twolves are 15-10 vs West Conf this year. The previous 2 yrs, MN was 15-89.

JVG knew what was up a few years ago on draft night. He said whoever was going to coach this squad full of youngsters was going to have a short stint.
Rambis, as crappy as he was, was the perfect coach for us at the time. The stars aligned, we got Adelman, and the team is growing up and starting to gel.
