Cousins Wants to Stay in Sacramento Long Term

"Absolutely, this is where I want to be," the second-year center said in an interview with FOX Sports Florida when asked if Sacramento is where he wants to stay long term. "I'm loyal to the city. I'm loyal to my fans. I'm loyal to my team. I'm loyal to the organization."

Real nice article about our improving big man, and my favorite player on the Kings, DMC.

nice to hear that from cuz... but its easier to say it now... 4-5 years down the road or on his 2nd big payday and the kings are still not in the playoffs and with little help on the court...now thats the time i would love to hear him say that...

What do you expect him to say? No one wants to play for a loser with no hope of winning in the near future. If this team isn't winning when his contract is up say good bye to him.

Said it before, I'll say it again. Very rarely do players pass up their first big payday coming out of their rookie deals. Their agent would cut their balls off. I'm not worried about Cousins leaving after his rookie deal, it's when you get to that next big payday that you better be winning.
