jj's wingspan is 10 INCHES shorter than jrich's and he is a few inches shorter jrich . he may hustle harder than j rich to try to make up for it, but he will never be able to defend like he would be needed to because of that.

His biggest physical asset is his length, which at 7’2″, is an absolute anomaly for a player of his height.

Anyone know who that is?

Marshon Brooks? Think I've seen that sentence in one of those "Brooks=Future star" articles ..

Gasol himself no, but I think we could use a steal like Gasol to LA right now ..

Like Ellis for anyone not named Dwight

Haha, good call. I was just reading his draft profile in response to another post and saw that line about the wingspan.

It wouldn't matter though, because JRich has the defensive ability of a chair.

Even if his wingspan was 10ft, wouldn't help him because his fundamentals are so messed up.

not sure it would make sense for the celtics, im guessing it would revolve around mo williams and randy foye, maybe picks..but it wouldn't help for one last run

exactly. being taller/longer doesn't make you a better or smarter defender. If J-Rich isn't knocking down open shots, he's pretty useless on the court.

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate

Maybe Bledsoe and a couple other pieces with a future pick. Gives Boston the opportunity to move Rondo for more pieces. For some strange reason they seem set on trading that stud

Remember that guy who said he is in the know with Dwight (and posted up some pictures of conversations he had with him thru Twitter)? Well, he brought some good news.....

I've sensed a change in Dwight the last couple of weeks. A month or two ago I was really confident he would be heading to Brooklyn, but now I feel different. Brooklyn haven't made the 'moves' they are suppose to make yet, and if they don't get S-Jax then I REALLY doubt Dwight or even D-Will consider the Nets. From the very beginning though he's always said he loves the city and fans and that its just the front office

Hope he's right......

If SJax is really the deciding factor (or even A deciding factor), then there is no way in hell we can justify not trading Hedo for him.

are you kidding? if they'd trade hedo straight up for sjax whether dwight stays or not it makes sense for us. in other words we should beg to trade hedo for sjax

Some people don't want him, I doubt they'd even do it for just Hedo. I'd be down for trading JRich for him, too, honestly.

http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Marshon-Brooks-6347/

A lot of what he did in college he still does now.

i think he is the only bright spot of the possible deal, but he is not a special player and will never be one. it all comes down to one thing for him: does he have NBA body? narrow shoulders + thin frame + weak bone structure almost never equates to more than a role player (bosh says hi).

have you seen Hedo up close? The dude is not just tall, he is **** huge. jameer? probably much wider. jrick makes wafer looks like a pipe. without looking at draft express, i had called him a shorter nick young. according to them, that was thought to be his best case scenario. kudos on the long arms, but it is not that big of a deal.

don't get me wrong, i rather have him than not hv him, but he is hardly a star material. he might become one, but odds say otherwise.
