I can't read spanish and don't know if this is a credible paper. First time I've seen this rumor though, makes some sense since rasheed was just signed.

I was actually thinking of a VERY similar deal yesterday. Intersting.

I'd hit that tbh. I like Williams a lot, and I think we can build around Bynum.

That's a PR paper, not credible when it comes to bball.

if we can get bynum AND williams that is a solid return imo. willaims/anderson/bynum is a very solid frontline but it doesn't solve our perimeter problems and bynum is a huge injury risk. marshon lopez and draft picks/cap space sounds a bit better to me.

There's definitely something wrong when the Lakers upgrade at 3 positions in 1 trade.

Funny thing is, I was playing around with this idea when Dwight had first asked to be traded, I swear. Never thought they could actually make it happen, though.
he has no position, more of a tweener...hes built like a small forward but his speed and game is a pf

No way in hell Beasley is an upgrade to Pau. And Barea is not capable of being a starting pg in this league. Great bench guy, but not a threat when playing major minutes.
I like the idea a lot, but no way Minny gives up that much for Pau. They like Williams a lot.

He is quicker then you think, definitely a 3 not 4. Can slide over and play spot minutes at 4 if necessary, but he is the type of big physical small forward you need to match up against the Lebrons and Carmelos of the world

We obviously need more, but it's a start. We need to unload hedo and get back a few picks. Derrick Williams can be flipped if need be. I started thinking about it when I heard LA was looking to trade Gasol to Minny. They need to split Gasol into multiple pieces for themselves and to trade for Dwight.
I was actually thinking:
Orlando Out: Dwight, Hedo, Duhon
Orlando In: Bynum, Williams, Ridnour, Picks
LA Out: Bynum. Gasol
LA In: Dwight, Hedo, Duhon, Beasly
Minny Out: Williams, Ridnour, Beasly
Minny in: Gasol

Not at all saying I would do it, just that I was messing around with the trade machine and was thinking about a three way deal between these teams.

That trade is real nice for the Magic. I'm sure they could milk out a draft pick or two from the Lakers and unload Davis or Duhon to either Lakers or T'Wolves.
Only thing I don't get is why Minny wants to do that deal with Pekovic's emergence. Don't think it's possible to give up on a #2 overall pick any quicker either.

Re: Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part XI)
Derrick Williams has a great offensive game and rebounds the ball. His offensive game is actually a great compliment to Anderson and they would jive nicely. Bynum is a beast of a center and someone you can win a championship with as your best player, imo.

i dont see the lateral quickness or the speed to match up with those guys, hes athletic and can jump but he moves to much like a PF when i watch him..he looks more like a davis west with an outside shot
well maybe an athletic pierce/west? too off? lol.... he has some potential

Beasley is a 3 imo. Barea>Fisher and Blake
I'm not a huge fan of Williams. I feel like the Magic can do better than that.

I personally just like a trio of Bynum, Anderson, and Williams to build around more than anything NJ has. And I am a bigger Brooks fan than most.

Another one of my trade thoughts. What if (assuming the lakers add gasol in d12 trade) lakers, orl, gsw, do a 3 three way netting the magic bynum and ellis?

i think this trade has potential.
add a bad contract from magic (hedo or duhon and Q, in that order of preference), one more decent rookie/sophmore and two 2012 firsts. it is a deal.

"Aaron Gordon will cost Henny's job by Dec 2016." Predicted Dec 2014.
"O'Quinn will have a longer and more successful NBA career than Nicholson." Predicted Jun 2012. Verified on Dec 2014.

Lakers and Wolves fans are already complaining that they're giving up too much. Wolves even want us to add Redick.

I agree with Wolves fans. Beasley, Williams, and Barea is way too much for Pau

Re: Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part XI)
That's actually not a bad trade for us at all
Williams is only 20 years old, very athletic, very good rebounder Per 36 he's about a 15/8 player, almost a 14 PER.....
Bynum is the best player we're gonna get in any Howard trade, PER near 22
If we get some picks, or maybe can pry Anthony Randolph its interesting....then we can turn Anderson/others for a wing scorer maybe Monte
Bynum and Williams is a nice foundation, but what is Williams long term position?

aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

I think with DeVos coming out & saying we have a shot at keeping Dwight, there is no way he is traded. Gonna take a chance at him staying & keep building around him.
