If Orlando could get LA to swallow big Baby or the TPE, that would be a coup for them. But, given Cap situation, doubt Lakers will use TPE. May also have to send a scrub to Minny for roster spot purposes.

Let a long time Laker fan put some validity to this............AIN'T HAPPEN'IN. This trade will dissolved our advantage we've had the last 4 years.....a big front court. Howard and a used Wallace won't cut it period. And trying to infuse 1/4 of a new team into a team that's still learning a new system isn't smart at all.

Beasley & Barrea in return would be amazing as well, Beasley is a young talent that I believe can be directed to become even better with a winning attitude team such as the Lakers

That's basically it. We are trading Gasol(top5 PF) + Bynum(top2 C) for the best center in the NBA.

I was up to this before the season and before we traded odom for nothing because I believe Odom would be the perfect PF to play with Bynum

Blake - Kobe - Barnes - Odom - D12 could do some damage....

Agreed that it wouldn't be their last move. They'd have a few players who can play PF in Murphy/McBob/Wallace... I can see them using the TPE to get a decent PF to play 25-30 min for them. He doesn't have to be an allstar. With Kobe/Howard/Beasley, they have plenty of offense in the lineup. They'd be fine with a PF who can defend and hit the open jumper.

Well lets see, the Dwill/Bynum trade gives us absolutely no cap relief. Bynum will be due for an extension and will command near Dwight money, so we basically are in the same situation as we are now, only we are worse with Bynum over Dwight. How do you improve?

The Nets can offer major cap relief, Brooks and Lopez, and two top picks in 2012, not to mention they are working on find a third team to sweeten it up.

Even if the tpe is to small for Hedo's contract. With Bynum and Gasol going out 35mil with Gasols Kicker. They should be able to take back Hedo. Then use the TPE on Beasley.

Howard is the best big man in the game and I see no reason for him to leave the spot light that comes with playing in LA. Kobe aint retireing for a few more years either. Plus Nash is going to be a free agent also and I'm pretty sure he can be persuaded into coming to LA.
