rumor - 3 team trade involving magic, twolves, lakers

Post#1 » by Iamabeasttt » Sat Feb 25, 2012 11:11 am

found this browsing another lakers forum, not sure how legit this site is.

According to the biggest and most respected News paper in Puerto Rico, El Nuevo Dia. JJ Barrea as you all know is Puerto Rican and everything that has to do with him this news paper fallows. They were the first to say he was signing with the Timberwolves. The rumor says Lakers receive Beasly, Barrea and Dwight Howard. Orlando would get Andrew Bynum and Derrick Williams. Minnesota would get Gasol. Link is in Spanish.

seems like the wolves get robbed, but businesses wise very smart. they'll ink a major tv deal in Spain in no time.

what do you guys think?

if this rumor is true, I can see why lakers are signing wallace. I doubt it however, not getting my hopes up.

I wish. Get a speedy, starting PG, a scorer who can create his own shot in Beasley and of course Dwight, who'll erase every single defensive mistake on the court.

Really don't see how this is good for us. Our front court is fine, all we need is a PG and a SF! Barea and Beasley won't cut it at these two positions, and our starting PF is who, McRoberts? :banghead: :banghead:

it likely won't happen but it sorta makes sense.

Minnesota would still have Rubio, Wes, and Love with the addition of Gasol
Orlando would get a young Center and possibly the winner of the Dunk contest (is that why D. Williams is in it  )
And of course the Lakers get a quick pg in Barea, and a best in Dwight,

I guess I am the only lone but...I'm cool with

Barea/Blake/Fisher
Kobe/Blake/Goudie
Peace/Barnes/Kapono/Walton
Beasley/Wallace/McRoberts/Murphy
Dwight/Wallace/Murphy

I know it may look a little wack on paper. But we do get younger, faster, and more athletic. We need a shakeup and this might be it. Dwight can draw a double team like Kobe. This could work!

I bet we're going to get a lot more rumors like this until the trade deadline passes or until Dwight finally does get traded, whichever one happens first.

I don't think Dwight's going to extend here if it's just going to be him and Kobe, which it would be if we gave up both Bynum and Gasol in a deal for him. But I don't see us getting Howard any other way.

Also, these Spanish websites must want to see Gasol moved pretty badly. They've been throwing around Pau for Boozer for months, now this.

If this trade went through, I'd bet Fisher declines his player option for the 2012-2013 season.

Same thing I said, but the snot nose retards on the GB are fully debating this like it's going to happen. Overall it's a horrible deal for the Lakers, I've been saying for months now that guys need to forget about Dwight coming here.....just not going to happen.
