Gilchrist, Davis, and maybe Sullinger and Beal seem to have good leadership, but I don't think any of those guys will be first options in the NBA other than Davis.

I don't know why you guys are slamming Ida because it is pretty transparent that we are lacking a leader on this team.

Stock and Malone were not leaders, go to guys, or stars. They were lieutenants. Sloan was the leader. That could be the very reason why we didn't earn a championship. We might have been given a championship by lack of competition, but we ran into MJ. We didn't have a go-to guy on that team. We were bread and butter finely tuned, but didn't have any jelly.

Deron might have been jelly, but we didn't have bread and butter finely tuned. It was sloppy. Booze was "I can't believe it's not butter".

Sloan didn't like jelly on his toast. He wanted white bread perfectly toasted with an exact amount of butter. Jelly was just too dynamic.

We need some jelly that will overwhelm the bread and butter of the opposition. I like Burks to be that guy but like Machetti said... it's a couple years out. I hope Ty likes jelly.
