Beautiful looking stroke from that re-play.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

In todays game alone Davis has hit an 18 ft J with ease, hit a left and right hook in the lane, and a turn around J in the block. NO DOUBT his offensive game is gonna evolve...

Rejected by Anthony Davis. Yep, Anthony Davis sealed the game there.

Anthony Davis is the consensus No. 1 overall pick. That's it.

He's a legit difference maker on both ends of the court, there is no doubt about it.

The Raptors dilemma is, what happens if we get the #1 pick? I'm assuming you draft Davis but then are we trading Bargnani or having Davis come off the bench. A Davis/JV front court might have problems offensively.

Yeah I was definitely wrong about his offensive upside.

According to Chad Ford who surveyed every lottery team, we would definitely draft Davis and initially employ a three man rotation of Davis, Bargnani and Valanciunas. That leaves Ed and/or Amir out.
Now, my supposition is that Bargnani definitely starts the first year, but when Davis and Valanciunas have a year under their belts and have started filling out their bodies, Bargnani either comes off the bench as our super sixth man ginobili type, or is traded. Probably the latter.
That would be the most logical scenario.

That's a dream scenario...I think you roll with a JV/Davis/Bargs front court for next year and ship ED or Amir out. Once Davis develops offensively trade Bargnani for an offensive SF or PG....its a dream
on another note PJ3 is letting me down. Putting together another stinker...QMiller looking good so far 8pts, 5rbs in 1st half.

nobody will have to come off the bench much that much though, they can all backup 2 positions. 4th quarter we just go with whatever we need. Scorer or defender. Would be great.
secret to beating the elite teams is crushing their frontcourts. Their top players are all little guys. Especially in the east, all the best bigmen from past drafts went out west

I'd love to see Jeff Taylor and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist in our wing rotation next year. Maybe see if DeMar could buy us a mid-first. Go with Kleiza, JJ, Taylor, Gilchrist, Bayless as a wing rotation.

We need to draft some Pac-12 cheerleaders.
