As in right now it looks like Mayo is not going anywhere. But if we have to trade him Morrow a pick and farmar for Mayo and Sam Young would be my choice.

We are loaded at the PF/C position SGs and aBack up PGs is what we need.

Would Memphis be interested in a trade that gets them a back up PG, a replacement SG and gets them under the luxury tax?

Clippers get:
OJ Mayo 5.6 million
Quincy Pondexter 1.1 million

Grizzlies get:
Randy Foye 4.3 million
Eric Bledsoe 1.6 million

The Grizzlies get Bledsoe, who started and was on the all rookie second team last year. The Clippers have the luxury of being able to trade him since they already have two other starting PGs in Paul and Williams. Foye is a decent replacement for Mayo and is a expiring contract. The Grizzlies also save 800,000 with this deal, getting them under the luxury tax.

If Bledsoe could play now they'd it. this summer that trade isn't a bad idea though. They aren't going to part with those 2 players midseason though unless Bledsoe was ready to go.

Personally I would not trade for Afflalo.

Dudley?

Excellent teammate, fantastic role player, very good defender, great contract, and shoots the long ball with the best of them....

The Suns need someone who can create on offense....Mayo could fit that bill.

I don't see anything that's great about having a slightly above average role player on a four year deal that's over $4mil per. This is the new age where only core players get longer contracts.

Don't get me wrong, I like Dudley, but Mayo is producing just as well, if not slightly better than Dudley.

But I do think that Memphis could use another Shane Battier type going into the playoffs, assuming they actually make the playoffs.

Sorry, I think this trade would be a non starter with Memphis because there isn't much to seperate the two players and the number of years on Dudley's contract.

All good points. Do you think you will be able to retain Mayo for 5 million per year? I think with the likelihood of Mayo walking, and that Dudley could provide 90% of what Mayo provides for the Grizzlies makes this deal appealing to both sides. Just my humble opinion.

Bledsoe is back and ready to play now. He just isn't able to get many minutes being behind CP3 and Mo Williams.

Trade with Chicago has to include Taj Gibson.

I saw the idea of getting Wilson Chandler, who I'm not crazy about but he's certainly better than Jared Dudley and Randy Foye.

more likely to be a chance for Greg Oden someday because his agent is Conley's dad and they're best friends. quincy pondexter played at same school as Roy but years afterwards.

Darrell Arthur and OJ Mayo for Ray Allen?

Any interest in adding a vet sharp shooter off the bench?

I'm just looking at scenarios if Boston does rebuild.

Other than shedding a little salary down the line, there's really no strategic advantage for this 2012 Memphis roster if that move happened.

Gordon, although nice, is a little pricey and there's a bit of a logjam at the 1-2 spots now with Conley, Arenas and Mayo all getting a fair number of minutes there. Tayshaun doesn't add all that much at this point and Pondexter has been really serviceable from the wing. Then you add in the fact that Rudy actually does a significant amount of good stuff for this team (like being the leading scorer, being a very nice option late in games and being a large wing defender in his physical prime) and it's a significant downgrade.

Would Derozan + Ed Davis + 2013 Pick be enough for Gay? If not what would be your asking price?

Hey guys, Pacers fan here. What would it take to get Conley? What are you pretty much looking for?
"I’ve seen a guy that played for the Pacers, gave them everything they had, or everything he had, and was essentially traded to the dogs. And I’m speaking on Danny Granger, who was one of the better players in Pacers history"

Wolves get Gay
Memphis get Thornton, Barea, King's draft pick(5-6 so far)
Kings get Williams, Johnson.

Memphis gets a scorer in Thornton who can replace Gay's points and allows letting Mayo walk , gets a good backup PG in Barea and gets a good pick (Barnes?)
