very cryptic. also could mean otis to be bringing the help in.

"variables not yet considered" and "i don't think it's decided yet".

better be something rewarding at the end of this.

what hasn't been considered? location, potential help (both here and on other teams), marketing, and the prospect of Dwight extending for one more year have all been covered.

unless it's something like Deron is now indicating to Dwight that his preference is to go to Dallas, which is almost forcing Dwight's hand since Dallas won't be able to clear enough room for both of those guys. perhaps Deron tries to force a trade to Dallas this season, leaving them with the opportunity to sign Dwight outright in the summer?

my guess is there are deals on the table for the Magic for players that haven't yet been considered. as mentioned in another thread, i'm throwing out Anderson for Tyreke Evans as a potential starting point.

I honestly think the Magic do have a chance, but there has to be some kind of plan, some kind of direction towards getting better. Dwight isn't going to just stick around with what we have now. If he doesn't give his commitment than it' peace out for Dwight.

I'm pretty excited bro. We're going to know what the future of the team will be within the next few weeks. Either we get Dwight help (Monta) and contending again, or we trade Dwight, go young and get ready for a new brand of basketball, which after watching the Cavs, isn't that bad. They have a lot of excitement around their stud lotto pick.

oh hell definitely... you know Part XII is going to be bumpin

Indy? what do you mean?

danny granger for ryno + jj + Q

better return for indy, but helps us, too. hedo off the bench with a JJ type of role. baby starts, clark backs up. von and liggins to back up SG. definitely a more balanced team.

this would work better if we acquire a pass first PG.

Personally, I don't think Granger is worth JJ and Ryno plus add in QRich (nice contract). Granger is nice, but not a superstar or game changer.

^^ i agree, but magic will have to be content with not getting the better end of the deal to have shot at improving.

We are really the only people talking about people coming to the Magic, everyone else is only reporting on Dwight. The media hasn't discussed any Magic trades outside of Dwight.

i'd probably do that.

although, i'd do whatever it took to move Baby for another PF. i'm really not a fan and don't want to see him getting any more touches than he already does.

It's understandable. They have no reason to believe anyone of worth could come to the Magic. We don't have the trade chips, nor the cap space. Even though we talk about it, I still think it's a real long shot. Homer hope.

LOL. Such a complete joke. He is going to wait until it plays out and then make his statement. Typical ESPN like prediction.

I'm not falling for this radio rumor bs again. I've learned my lesson :D

BBD has looked better the last 4 games. I have hope for him.

Plus, I'd hesitantly do that deal. I'm not sure I'm sold that Granger is as good as portrayed. I'd have to watch more Pacer games to judge, but from what I've seen, he's streaky, and takes a backseat approach. Still, his offense and ability to get his own shot would help our team.
