They say one thing they've heard this weekend from Dwight's people is he's going to shop his destinations in July and go wherever promises him a championship in 2012. That year. Not 2013. He's not looking at past experience, but 2012 and a ring. They also say Orlando and NJ do not offer him that chance and LA and Dallas offer championship caliber owners, GMs, and coaches.

Even better. Maybe Golden State offers David Lee and Curry for Dwight because it would be great if Golden State could offload Lee on Orlando.

Then finishes with Dwight's people say maybe the best option is to pick up his option and play another year in Orlando.

That last part would be WONDERFUL for Orlando.

I think if Dwight would opt in on his final year, that will be the first indicator that the Magic would try and clear as much cap space for the 2013 off-season and form a "Big 3". Or at least a Big 2 1/2.

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate

g.wallace would be amazing. he would add a toughness we haven't seen on this team and would get us past the hawks imo. we would still lack a playmaker though.

Dwight does NOT want to play in LA their ownership situation is a MESS, Jim Buss has a bad reputation around the league, and Dwight does NOT want to play second fiddle to KOBE

GSW? LOL Dwight already flatly rejected any notion of ever wanting to go there.

yeah, Dwight already rejected the thought of playing there long term but that won't stop GSW from offering Lee & filler? as a cover-up salary dump.

Kyler gets a lot of hate around here but the guy reports what he hears. He certainly has A LOT more access to players & their close reps, so he certainly has a better picture of what's going on behind the scenes.

Hoopsworld is what's killing the legitimacy of sports journalism. Alex Kennedy and Steve Kyler are glorified bloggers. If you follow Kyler on twitter, it's pretty evident he's an egomaniac.

I'll wait until a legitimate news source leaks something. All we can really do is sit and wait.

I really hope D12 just comes out and says he will not opt out, it would remove alot of issues away from the team, and we could still trade him this summer but removing some of the external pressure would benefit both sides
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

i did not know much about those guys, but based on their recent actions, i agree with their lack of integrity. hoopsworld's only writer is that greek guy i could not remember his name. and maybe some other guy - brotherson or something.

@TNT_CraigSager reported @dwighthoward mom wants him in Orl. Said D12: "I don’t know what she said but that’s my mom’s opinion. That’s it."

So, any optimism over that comment just went down the drain.
