after reading PHX fans comments on the genral board it sounds like if we give up nelson+redick+1st and take back a bad contract then its a done deal. they want to see nash play with howard and compete for a title

nash/duhon
jrich/wafer
sjax/Q
anderson/baby
dwight

bench is suspect but should keep dwight in orl for another season until bad contracts come off the books then hello ellis.

Question: When was the last time Otis publicly 'Aggressively Pursued' anyone?.....

Yep, here comes Goran Dragic out of nowhere....

Where did Hedo go and where is the bad contract? Also we CANNOT take a bad contract we are in good position for cap room in 2013 we can't ruin it..give them the rooks instead of a bad contract

The Hedo for S-Jax idea needs to go away. Milwaukee won't trade S-Jax for a terrible contract in Hedo. They are better off letting him pout on the bench and expiring, or even buying him out.

Having a good PG on the team would be amazing, but I worry that Dwight would leave anyway. Then trading for a 40 y/o and possibly one of the PHX bad contract would end up being a horrible move.

Would be the best lineup in the league.... if it were 2006 (minus Ryno)

No offense to getting Nash, which would be nice ofcourse. But that would mean we would have to revamp the offense to fit a new PG's skills, and frankly, in this shortened season, we just dont have the practice to do it. A change in PG is huge. All SVG was complaining about was the lack of practice he had last year to get the team to gel. Its even worse now with the shortened season. Im not against Nash, but it will be interesting to see how SVG handles Nash if he were traded here.

Thank you sir, for not thinking like many fanboys on this board and recognize Hedo (the player & contract) are something no team is willing to touch...

The entire general board ackknowlged Jackson is still the better player and wouldn't touch Hedo with a 10ft pole, but this board still thinks Hedo is the ever-so-valuable one in the trade

I probably want Nash more than anyone on this board, but if we have to trade Anderson to get him, I say no thank you.

Turk makes virtually the same amount as SJackson and expired the same season. Considering Jackson is being a lil' bitch right now, why wouldn't the Bucks swap a distraction for someone who'd give them solid minutes?

"Monta Ellis' on/off court net rating last four seasons: minus-3.2, minus-7.4, minus-11.5, minus-1.9

Despite his gaudy point totals, the Golden State Warriors have been better with Ellis sitting on the bench for each of the last four seasons, as evidenced by his yearly net ratings. This season, the Warriors have not only been better, but they've been a winning team with Ellis riding pine, outscoring opponents 682-679 with their so-called franchise player absent.

Ellis continues to be one of the more explosive and talented scoring guards in the league, but he needs to find a team with a stellar defensive frontcourt to mask his gambling and otherwise underwhelming defense. Because it's not working out in Golden State. It hasn't worked out for years. Everytime I watch the Warriors these days, I can't help but think of the definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Will the Warriors cut a deal and stop running in place?"

GSW are better with without ellis, better just trade him to us. . . :)

Turk is guaranteed 6-7mill in 2014 even after waiving his option.. Jackson expires 2013.

It also doesn't hurt that he plays D and Dwight loves him...

also... this supposed false rumor of us getting Bynum, Gasol, and Calderon while dumping Hedo... that may be the best proposition I have seen yet.

wonder where it came from if false.

I'd do the Ellis trade. Switch out JJ with J Rich though.

If I'm ranking my preferred options as Magic GM, this is what I go for.

1. Keep Dwight, try for Nash, but do not give up Ryno..
2. Keep Dwight, try for Ellis, but don't hold your breath.
3. Trade Dwight, try to make the rumored Bynum, Gasol, Calderon while dumping Hedo happen.
4. Trade Dwight to GSW for Curry, Lee, Klay...
5. Trade Dwight for the proposed Bynum, Derek Williams, ONLY if we can dump at least one bad contract, and get picks
6. Trade Dwight for Lopez, Marshon, and every 1st pick NJ has on them.
