I'd take 10 of these seasons over one of those summers we had to endure with the Clown.

Cho said he has simple guidelines for what he wants and what he avoids:

Cho is attracted to the four C's: "Guys who compete, guys with character, guys who have consistency and guys who cover (play defense)."

He looks to avoid what he calls the four S's: "Guys who are slow, guys who are soft, guys who are stupid or guys who are selfish."

"The evaluation of Paul and his staff is always ongoing. But I don't anticipate anything this year as far as (replacing) Paul because he hasn't had his full 15-man roster yet," Higgins said. "As far as (beyond this season), that process will happen on its own."

Higgins was asked what Silas' priority should be the rest of the season - player development or winning games? - since those two agendas aren't necessarily complementary.

"I would say that development of our young talent is vitally important, and Paul knows that. But you can never take a head coach's thirst for winning away," Higgins said.

"The other thing important to us is how our players compete. Once we're healthy - all 15 guys - we'll ask Paul to see that whoever is on the court competes, and then let the chips fall as they may."

"This past summer, nobody (from the team) really saw him because of the lockout. So Tyrus comes back physically looking totally different. He's not playing the same and he's probably lost 15 pounds," which has impeded his effectiveness at power forward, Higgins said.

Our plan is solid & we are following it to a T.

I really think we will get the #1 this year & Davis+cap space+2013 top 5 pick+Hendo,Biyombo & Kemba is a championship nucleus(in the future)

I would love to see us get that number 1 pick and Davis. Then go out and make a move with DJ and Diaw to get another pick. In the offseason i would go after Andre miller to be the starter at point guard. i would still get kemba a lot of minutes off the bench just like a Jason terry who i believe his game will be comparable to. If we can get Davis and another wing player in the draft and add miller in the offseaon for veteran leadership, we can really begin to turn the corner.

Yes, let's get a veteran to bury one of the young guys! One thing people don't remember about the Thunder's rebuild is they never got the #1 pick and still things worked out perfect.

What really worked out for the Thunder was that Greg Oden was taken ahead of them. If that didn't happen, I don't know how that team will look like now.

That's true and they took what was thought of at the time was a risk on taking Westbrook as early as they did and if I remember correctly Harden going third was even questioned at one time.

Thats cool. I wonder who among this summer FAs would fit in this guidelines.

Prolly Oj Mayo, Asik, Fernandez, Courtney Lee would.
And you can forget about guys like McGee, Beasley, Randolph, Brook Lopez...

I would definitely be all for signing Brook Lopez to a small deal especially if we did land Davis. I know some of you guys are like we already have Brook in Mullens. No... we don't.
