What trade would make us better?
So the 2 big trade rumors circulating so far is for Howard and Rondo. Which squad makes us a better contender now and for the future?
pg: Rondo
sg: Kobe
sf: MWP
pf: Murphy/O'neal/Sheed
c: Bynum
or
pg: Nelson
sg: Kobe
sf: MWP
pf: Hedo (stretch 4 with MWP defending the bigger PFs)
c: Dwight
or keep our current roster (assuming we sign arenas and use TPE to get Beasley)

Re: What trade would make us better?
1- Sessions or Augustin or Felton/ Blake/ Fisher
2. Bryant/ Goudelock
3- Artest/ Barnes
4. Gasol/ Beasley
5. Bynum/ Murphy
Reasons why this is the best trade:
1. Our team chemistry is not blown to pieces as would happen in a deal for a superstar
2. Either of those point guards we could acquire with the trade exception or mcroberts are far better than Jameer nelson
3. We still keep the best frontline in basketball intact adn the offense of our team doesn't change too much
2. Bryant/ Goudelock
3- Artest/ Barnes
4. Gasol/ Beasley
5. Bynum/ Murphy

I'd take Nelson over Felton

Re: What trade would make us better?
I like adding a PG and possibly a SF without giving up Gasol/Bynum before anything else
Only thing that would change that is giving up just one of Gasol or Bynum for Deron or Dwight which is unlikely

Good news on that front:
Rumor is that Wilson Chandler would look at Minnesota so perhaps they do the deal for Ebanks+TPE.

Re: What trade would make us better?
Out of the 2 rumored trades, I'd say the Rondo trade would be better for us, both short and long-term. We still have a big three and we also get help financially. If we get Turkoglu along with Howard, then we're trapped.

We're not trapped. We still have a clean sheet in 2014.

I like the second line-up better. I mean look at the first line-up. There's really no 3-point threat other than Murphy and Kobe Bryant and they both aren't consistent 3 point shooters. Metta and Rondo are horrible shooters and Bynum still has difficulty passing out from double teams.

Re: What trade would make us better?
Devin Harris, Raymond Felton and Jameer Nelson have all been equally terrible this year... absolute crap

Re: What trade would make us better?
Felton is a "perfect fit" for the Lakers and they did have allot of interest in him when he came out of North Carolina... I woud be more than happy with that acquistion and it will have a big impact... Keep in mid, adding Felton would also increases our bench production, regardless of who starts, given the added depth...
PG: Felton & Blake
SG: KB24 & _______
SF: Barnes & MWP
PF: Gasol & Sheed
C: Bynum & Murhpy
Keep your fingers crossed, as we need some help this year...

Re: What trade would make us better?
There are options this year. Mitch is probably going to go with the one that doesn't cost L.A. first round picks. I think one of the Beasley-Sessions-Felton deals will come at an inexpensive price and L.A. will pounce on that.
