danny granger.

he is a tier 2 (almost all-star/fringe all-star), per se, but so does ellis. his team is not going anywhere and they would be better of grooming paul george in granger's place.

Danny can score both iso and within system. can average 20 and can put up 30 on some nights when/if asked.

could require sending both jj and ryno.

"Aaron Gordon will cost Henny's job by Dec 2016." Predicted Dec 2014.

"O'Quinn will have a longer and more successful NBA career than Nicholson." Predicted Jun 2012. Verified on Dec 2014.

I'm sure we've talked about most of them. There are only so many star players available. You know you can scratch Kobe, LeBron, Wade, Durant, Westbrook, Rose, Carmelo, Dirk, and a few others if Dwights not involved. One that doesn't get mentioned that MIGHT be available (although I doubt they want our players) is Tony Parker. There can't be more than 15 players though that would really make a big difference for us.

That's an interesting one. I haven't thought of that.

Well I do but I've heard both ways a lot. And big name player = higher chance or keeping dwight

for some reason i think we go for granger.

nash granger g.wallace sjax are the players i wouldn't be surprised to see in a magic jersey soon. these are 2nd tier stars or hustle guys. nash, maybe granger could make dwight think twice before leaving.

ellis and rondo type players are out of our price range imo

Tony Parker would make us contenders but I'm not sure if SA is willing to pull the plug this year; especially with how wide open the west is.

I can't wait till March 15th passes. I'm honestly not expecting any trade to happen because that's our luck as Magic fans.... but, I just wanna know if we do anything or not. I really can't wait.

Granger is a bit overrated imo. Averaging 18-4.5-1.8 this year on 38% shooting. Is that really anything special? I know he can create his own shot and drop 30 on any given night, but I would much rather have a guy like Monta who can drop a big number as well, but is a much better passer, which our offense severely lacks. I don't think adding Granger will really help that much. Poor man's Melo.

I agree. he probably wouldn't make us a lot better, but, if we can get him for the right price we could possibly flip him for Ellis in some kind of package. another guy I think could be a somewhat realistic option is Rudy Gay. I would love to have him here. I'd prefer Ellis, but, Gay is pretty amazing.

^^rudy gay is not a realistic option for us, don't get ur hopes up with that. neither is ellis b/c we have nothing they would want. not trying to be a buzzkill but we a still severly screwed and nothing has changed since dwight demanded a trade.

oh and we are 0-4 against atlanta/boston this year. a 39 yr old nash might be our last hope and i'm not even sure its even worth it as there is simply too many holes in this roster. dwight still wants NJ

^ granger would make us much better but we would still have a pg and an aging sg problem. maybe even a pf problem if we trade anderson for him. This team is like a sinking ship, once we plug one hole 2 more open up.

Granger can create for himself... he may not be Ellis... but I would trade for him in a heart beat
