I keep hearing Dwight Howard won't be traded. And there is smoke with these Nash rumors.

Andrew Melnick ‏ @HowardtheDunk
I still think it's a longshot because the Magic won't give up Ryan (among other reasons), but they're trying.

2 Good news tweets for Magic Fans .. One with bad news is bound to come next :([/quote

Its an up and down roller coaster with these rumors and right now were peakin to early with the good rumors which leads me to believe were gonna start hearing bad news around march 10 :(

after reading your post... for some reason I am reminded of Bensational's post from Part III

Bensational wrote:so Otis just gave Dwight a 'hall pass'? what's he hope to achieve? if he thinks Dwight is going to those teams and going to hear anything less impressive than what Otis is offering, then he's living in a freaking dreamland.

Lakers - 'hey, we can team you up with Kobe and Chris Paul and you'll be on the team that gets the free passes... no more T's!!"

Nets - 'hey, we'll team you up with Deron and whoever else you want us to sign. you'll be the star of a brand new franchise - the Brooklyn Nets. start your own legacy here!'

Mavs - 'we just won a championship. 'sup?'

Magic - 'Hedo Turkoglu. Jameer Nelson. we just signed ya boy BBD! all aboard the win train chooo choooo!'

this really sounds like the beginning of the end to me. i don't condone panicking, but i don't like the sound of this at all.

I wish JRich would score as good on the court as he does off the court :)

Barbosa, not JRich, was purportedly the father.

Rumor: Lakers trade Gasol for Lowry/Scola

Lakers seem to win every trade they make :-? .. Lowry is a stud & Scola is still a very good PF

Really hope Houston thinks twice about this. Gasol isn't worth that

So Lakers get a HUGE upgrade in the PG position and a steady PF to replace Gasol if this trade actually goes down.....ONE SIDED TRADES FTW.

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate

There are renewed rumblings about the Warriors possibly getting Brook Lopez from the Nets in a multi-team deal involving Howard. That would cost them big time, though; Monta Ellis would be part of the Magic’s compensation

Read more: http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/more_spo ... z1ngt54Tkf

LOL .. How bout the Nets make sure we get Ellis AND Lopez, not one or the other 8-)

Stan has made some mistakes & still does (bad rotations, doesn't know what a "hot hand" means)

But the biggest mistakes have been made by Otis, he should be the first to go

I wouldn't be opposed to that.

Question, if they did can Stan, who do you get?

Hell, I would do that deal if you swapped out Biedrins for Lee. Lee is a very underrated role-player. He can drop 20-10 on almost every night. Gives us a slightly better post-presence than with Ryan. Monta and Wright are MAJOR upgrades to Jameer+Hedo. I know everyone doesn't want to give up Ryan or JJ, but people forget, this means Wafer would be getting more minutes, and he could put up JJ-esque numbers....and Earl would be a stronger defensive presence at PF if needed. If it were Biedrins instead of Lee, we finally get a much-needed backup C.

As for the Stan thing.....I knew this might eventually occur, which is why I pushed this offseason for an Adelman hiring/Stan firing. As for available guys right now? Maybe Mr. Jackson wouldn't mind coming back? He always talked highly of Dwight, and he is obviously somebody who lets the players do their thing, which is what Dwight/Baby/others have pushed for.

Now on this subject there is a lot of people that doesn't like SVG...but there are also posters that think he's not the problem....me personally i don't think he's THE problem but i think he's part of the problem in some respect......His Rotations.....His sub patterns.....His shockingly unrelenting loyalty to certain players....lack of adjustments when it comes to in game situations and also to his "system"....Those are the things for me that i'm not really fond of when it comes to SVG.....

Some posters just look at his faults and say that it's not his fault that he has these players to work with...fine but you have to make the best of the situation when you're in it but it looks like Stan is not playing the best talent....he is going with what he knows works and guys that he trusts and is loyal to.....But i knew that Stan's Style/"System" would rub players the wrong way eventually.....

we heard rumors about Stan losing the locker room.....Dwight himself said that Stan didn't utilize Arenas correctly.....It came to a head recently after the Hawks game and we had that screaming team meeting...where Glen Davis said "Coach let us do our thing" which in not so many words is saying that he's too controlling....IDK where it goes from here but where there's smoke there's fire....

That would be a great team I think. Unfortunately, I think GSW for some reason don't wanna part with Lee as much as people think they do/should. IMO, if you can get rid of Lee, replace him with a younger Ryan (better outside shooter, prob similar rebounder) on a lesser contract...give them a backup PG in Jameer, a more typical SG in JRich...and take back Biedrin's contract....I don't see why they wouldn't do it. They get two "hometown" guys in JRich and Ryan too. I know their first priority is getting a legit C, but not sure that's gonna happen for them.

i think every team would rather take back jj and his 2 year contract as opposed to a declining jrich and his 4 year contract
