Plus, I would even say him hitting 3s for this team right now is more important than anything else he is doing offensively. Tonight was one of our better shooting nights from 3 (we're that terrible), and he didn't even hit one...

That's a fair point HP.

But as far as his 3pt shooting being his most important trait? I'll have to disagree on that. I think it would be stupid to stick a versatile player like Hayward on the 3pt line to rot and then get mad at him for missing shots.

The good news is... he did great last year, is doing terrible this year... so the ability is there. I think he can get it straightened out moving forward.

I didn't say to do that, but if he hit 2 or 3 threes a game, don't you think it would do wonders for this team offensively? It would also make the rest of his game come much more easily to him.

Didn't Gordon shoot 45% from 3 last year? His current slump is in his head. What worries me is that he had a similar shooting percentage drop in college, implying that consistency is a big problem for him. If you don't have the confidence and mindset to shoot it, you really can't.

It's Jefferson's AND Millsap's fault...... I love how people always leave out the Millsap part....... He sucked last game, as did Jefferson....... Those two cannot play together effectively over an entire season...... That was clear last year......

Millsap is just not a starting-caliber Power Forward, yet everybody keeps making excuses for him......

BUrks has strong moves.

Sucks to lose to the Kings.....I am only happy about the Jazz's pick nexty year dropping from about #12 to #9.

haven't read through the game thread so i might just be repeating what everyone else probably saw, but the game was lost halfway through the 4th when corbin put in the starters instead of staying with the most effective squad which included burks/kanter/favors...

our biggest problem is our identity crisis. are we really trying to be a playoff team this year, cause that's what we're being coached like, and it's not really workin out...

I love your young talent guys.

I secretly hope you'd be stupid enough to trade Favors to us somehow, but thats a false hope I guess.. he'd be great with Cousins though.

I always try and catch your guys to see the young blood but your stupid coach never plays them which is really dissapointing - I really hope for your sake theres minutes freed for the 3 big fellas to show what they can do, and for Burks to get more consistent minutes cause this kid is just great and needs more touchs on the offence.
