Something changed about John Wall. Something seem different

Post#1 » by Knighthonor » Wed Feb 29, 2012 1:49 am

Anybody else notice that John seem like he lack the explosiveness that he had early on.

I notice that he hasn't been taking the ball to the rim like he use to.

His energy level remind me of how he was during the all star game.

I wonder what's going on behind the scenes. Was he told to take it down a bit, or something like that?

What's your opinion on this?

He just isn't attacking the rim hard. He's playing softer, and isn't going all the way to the rim and is settling for soft floaters more than he should.

Great thread idea.

Attacking the rim too hard in traffic was his big problem earlier in the season. He would either force up a bad shot or turn it over. He is trying to stay more in control and shoot more floaters which makes sense.

He turned it over way too much tonight but I'll take 19/15. He looks a lot different when he is on the court with guys who are making jumpers.

The sad part is that I don't even think he's trolling.

I think it's probably because Wall had an ingrown toe nail and the Wizards doctors fixed it by amputating his foot.

Something changed about This Board. Something seem different

Maybe it's the 38 different threads on the front page all talking about John Wall?

Nahhh, couldn't be that. Must be something else......

That is the type of insight you can only get from someone in the know. It would certainly explain why Wall was shooting more floaters.

Yeah -- Wall's playing great for a guy with one foot. Just think how good he'll be when the Wiz docs perform the surgery to divide his remaining foot in two and attach the other half to the stump.
