Game Thread Wiz vs Orl 7PM

Post#1 » by hands11 » Wed Feb 29, 2012 11:32 pm

Nick and McGee out of the starting line up.

Finally.

Kind of a little surprised about McGee but at least Crawford is in starting for Nick who have been awful.

Wall
Crawford
Singleton
Booker
Seraphin

Lets see what Crawford can do with the opportunity. He has been playing pretty well lately.

Randy is laying down the law. You are not going to go out there and play however you feel like it. Looks like we will see more Mason and Mo Evans as well. Ronny and Dray should be ready soon as well.

This should get interesting. Either play the right way or sit. Options help coaching a lot even if they are not great options.

Good for Wittman. I'm liking him more than Flip.

This is the 1st time I come into a Magic game thinking we might actually win. 1st off the JC for NY thing is long overdue. Im sick of watching NY dribble with his head literally down because he's just worrying about making a move to jack up a shot instead of scanning the floor and making the right play which may be a pass.

Moreso though, I think McGee may have started tonight if we played anyone else but Howard kills him. In the past I didnt want McGee benched against the Magic because that wouldnt have been right but I always say that we should give him a chance and then if he gets a foul or Howard kills him then pull him quick and bring in the beef. Then when Howard goes to the bench, instantly bring McGee back. Ive always wanted that and neither Flip or Witt ever do it.

They leave McGee in until he gets 2 fouls or is dominated. Then Howard goes to the bench and we bring in Seraphin. Its so backwards. Then sometimes Howard would leave out the game and we would still keep Seraphin in. I would be so mad. I would be like this is the time to play McGee. He can kill there backups. Anyways, I think we have a much better chance to win tonight now with this lineup. Against the Cavs I may want McGee back in but I like Seraphin too. NY has to sit though

Crawford has been ballin' lately and Nick has been garbage, so this was inevitable really. It didnt work too good at the beginning of the season... but maybe we should forget the first 10 games or so and not make judgements based on them, when you look at it, pretty much everyone played like puddings. Perhaps a Wall/Crawford back court is ready to go now, perhaps Whittman can get it working... Well, we'll soon see.

McGee has also been playing like balls.... and considering Seraphin made Howard his biatch in the minutes he was given last time round, I'll be interested to see how he goes starting against him. My prediction though: Seraphin in foul trouble early, McGee comes in and gets two quick fouls, Whittman goes with the Janchise who beasts Howard and we win by 9 8-)

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

The Wizards should be whole lot better defensively with Seraphin at C if he can avoid fouls. I hope Seraphin gets off to a good start offensively. Otherwise, I expect Kevin to be in foul trouble early against Howard. If Seraphin scores I think the refs might let him stay on the court longer

I am glad to see Seraphin get some burn. I also wouldn't mind seeing Seraphin with Javale.

OK now this is really pathetic. In the highlights before the game they actually showed McGee's tomahawk goatend spike into the stands. Does that really deserve to be on the highlight reel?

Dray do back on Saturday.

I wonder how far Randy is willing to take this. I sure hope all the way.

Play right and gather splinters. They need to see who is willing to focus and step up.

If Singleton can't get it done, start Mo.
If KS can't get it done, start Ronny.

Time to start turning into a real NBA style team. Stupid and Stubborn should not be tolerated.

One things I already notice. KS finds Howard once the ball goes up and puts a body on him.

Can't score early. Better ball movement please.

Love that Javale and Nick lost their starting jobs.

Yeah, but it doesnt look like KS is ready to start. I understand benching them both but here comes McGee.

This game is probably not worth watching. Look tired from last night on both ends.

Two fouls, two scores by Howard. This is bad.

Gotta try Seraphin with McGee IMO. Javale CANNOT cover Howard.

Have to think Orlando is not a great team. At some point they'll let up in DC.
