Sam Amick ‏ @sam_amick

Definitely hearing Orlando still considering ways to hold onto Dwight, but idea that GS owner Joe Lacob would assist w/Monta is far-fetched.

Owner doesn't realize Warriors are 13-18 and in 20th place in the league. They're not going to make the playoffs with or without Howard.

Maybe the front office is banking on Harper to be the replacement for Anderson. I mean who else on this roster has the value of Anderson currently? We're in dire need of someone who can get their own shot off. If this trade does happen I think Ryan will be the fall guy.

I personally think that bbd has turned a corner the last 5-7 games. He is just starting to do the things he did in boston. While I do not like his contract, I would not mind him on the team come playoff time.

hmmmmm...i don't know man...i mean Dwight's enough of a ballstopper himself we don't need another one in Baby playing for 30+ minutes every game.....i think he's good at the 22-23 minutes he gets anymore than that and i'm ready to puke....His game does not compliment Dwight's....maybe if this deal is legit they will try to give us David Lee....doubt it but i much rather have Lee than Baby on my team

No stats needed. We need a go-to scorer down the stretch in the playoffs. Ellis fits the bill enough for Dwight to pick up his option and give us a chance to get our ducks in a row for 2013 when we battle again for Dwight's signature.

How much flexibility do you think Orlando will have when they have to take back Biedrens or Lee with Ellis?

If the Magic were gifted Ellis AND Lee, they wouldn't need much more imo. But I highly doubt we get Lee.

I wasn't getting my hopes up when I saw Rudolph's tweet, but when I saw Broussard tweet it, that excited me a little. As much as we can talk bad about that guy, Broussard is usually right. I just hope he's not just piggybacking off Rudolph.

Ok everyone who's going crazy about his plus minus a major reason for that is because he played or a bad team. Playing with Dwight and a winning team would change that plus minus and give him more confidence because he would get a whole lot of more wins here

Otis is a moron. He doesn't have the know-how to pull off a 3-4 team trade for Ellis.

Watch him give up Ryan and JJ if he does though. Idiot.

Even in multi-team deal, don't see Lacob - who is still obsessed with long-shot idea of landing Howard himself - helping Magic keep him.

@sam_amick in response to a question I sent about GSW not making the playoffs with or without Dwight.

im a huge anderson fan but i think we need a perimeter scorer in a bad way. Harper might get a chance to play some stretch 4

This!

ever since the Lakers/Magic finals...we saw how much we needed a player that could create for himself and for others... Ellis does that... and does it extremely well... plus he can score like a madman and dish the rock too... Ellis at PG will be money for us... finally a star combo guard to pair up with Dwight.

Help? ... he wants another superstar next to him... well here Dwight... if we get Ellis, shut your mouth, put on a smile... and stay with us... no more excuses.

I do think that Stan is another one of those "changes".

Not a ton, but some of it is negated because of the future cap space Ryan is going to take up. So while Biedrins might be expensive, Ryan will be too. For that cost we get Monta.

I think it's greatly overstated. Bargaining stance. I don't think Warriors make the playoffs with or without Dwight. Owner will have to come to his senses.

sam amick is on the level of broussard and stein. he is good. its common sense too. why help the magic when you want howard? unless a 3 team deal can deliver them an elite big its unlikely
