Also, the Pistons get pretty much no fan support now (dead last in attendance, actually). Rough times in Detroit.

We will probably pick 3rd, thats just the way things seem to go for us. The thing that Im more concerned about when it comes to next years draft is that both Drummond and Gilchrist have said they are going back to school. They're both probably full of it, but there potentially goes 2 of the top 4 picks right there.

That's because nobody wants to play for the Bobcats... I bet if the lakers or mavs ended up with our pick somehow then there would be none of this going back to school ***

Drummond really must not like Charlotte if he'd rather go back to a college team that is barred from the tourney.

Some observations about last nights game on ESPN's Daily Dime:

X factor: Bismack Biyombo, who blocked three shots in nine minutes, left left the game in the first quarter with a shoulder injury. Without him, the Bobcats couldn't protect the rim or grab rebounds effectively.

That was ... thorough: Aside from Jason Maxiell -- who starts for his defense (four blocks) and rebounding (seven rebounds) -- every Piston starter scored at least 14 points and made at least half their shots.

Has Bismack become our most indispensable player?

silas - well, we were doing good until bismack got hurt. i dont know how anyone can expect us to compete when i dont have my entire 15 man roster healthy.

it is kinda comical that as soon as one player gets healthy another gets hurt. but every team deals with injuries, maybe not to 3 starters at once, but thats not the case any longer.

no more excuses, just be competitive.

mullens was atrocious last night. its like beating a dead horse, but he is just truly an awful defender and rebounder.

There is a reason the phrase "ONE TRICK PONY" was coined many years ago.

If he can work on his strength to hold his position a little better next year, I think he can be a servicable starting center.

Right now he's just so weak and defensively inept that Monroe and other physical centers just bully him down low.

He's the best offensive big man we've ever had but if he cant defend or avoid immediate foul trouble, Silas is right to continue to limit his minutes and keep him on the pine.

How is Mullens a starting center when we already have Biyombo? give up that wet dream, our future front court will be Davis/Biyombo, deal with it
