This team needs a center. We won't win with Allen and Vucevic starting at least not right now in their careers. I would like them to make a play for Kaman or Okafor. Hawes is not the answer and won't be next year.

Well I heard Stephen A Smith a little while back talking about moves the sixers could or should make. One he suggested was Rudy Gay for Iguodala. He stated it would give us our go to scorer at the end of the game and also open more room for Jrue and ET to handle the ball.

I personally love how Iguodala is playing for us , as much as I like rudy gay and I think the trade makes sense for us , I dont believe it makes sense for memphis so I dont think anything will happen with it.

I also think that if this deal is to get done there would have to be other pieces.
Just my 2 cents on it

Would much rather have Okafor then Kaman...Kaman is old and injury prone and doesnt seem to be good at much anymore other than getting put on posters for all the wrong reasons.

Can ET plus somehow get you in the Lopez discussions if Orlando doesn't take him?? If they aren't landing Howard, they still need to get a big.

Brook Lopez is flirting with historically bad rebounding numbers. Even for his career, his rebounding percentage is 12.9. GTFO of here with that as a starting center.

Brook Lopez is better suited playing the 4 then the 5. Like Kobble said, the guy just can't rebound.

He doesn't move well enough to defend the 4. He's a straight 5, can't mask it by changing a position.

Monta Ellis and Danny Granger are having horribly inefficient offensive years. It would really suck to have to pay full price for either player. I would love to have Gay (n/h) on this team. I think, of the three, he means the most to his current team. It might take a little to pry him away.

with Ellis and to an extent Gay...I'd want to keep Iggy.

I doubt we could get Gay without giving up Iggy though.

I think Rudy is pretty damn good tho so He's my preferred target.

But I wonder if we even have to go get a "big name" to fix one of our issues. We just need another legit option. That alone would open up the floor for everyone else on the team. You figure Lou is the only guy who can get his and he's pretty easy to stop but if there was someone else who could is a threat to score, Lou would be tougher to stop. That alone should prevent the long scoring droughts we have.

But who the hell is this mystery scorer?...

meh not gonna get my hopes up since we all know we aint gonna do ****

quietly shopping turner/nocioni as a package to get a scorer.

also have interest in a big man who can rebound but they arent sure they have the assets to get both. Hoping Hawes can fill some of that void.

From what I gather, its not that they do not think Andre and turner cannot co-exist, its since turner seems to be more of a pt guard in the NBA, they have to decide who they want to keep between him and Jrue and then move the other. So its possible they decide to shop Jrue. Not sure they have gotten to that point yet tho.

sixerfan, who do they have as targets? are monta, martin, granger, or gay any of their targets?

wont it take a bit more than that "package" ?

wow I have to imagine at this point that it's Turner that goes...Sucks but maybe it gets us Kevin Martin who would be awesome on this team. Crazy times call for crazy things to happen.
I would also guess that Danny Granger may be a target as well although that would mean moving Iguodala to shooting guard.
James Harden could be a darkhorse in all of this.. OKC is going to have a hell of a time trying to keep him and both Ibaka.
Of course I don't have sources but I am just trying to name some of these "low key" scorers that have been suggested.
Otherwise it's Monta Ellis for me all day..He's the guy I would want and I would give up Turner,Lou,Nocioni, and our first to get him here.
