Also Orlando keeping Dwight just makes New Jersey look SO much better as a destination. If we don't take all of their assets that team is going to have Deron, a top five pick in a great draft, a solid SG, a great trade piece in Lopez or a great PF. Basically that team with Howard is a championship contender, without all their assets they would be worse than the knicks without lin.

If Curry wasn't always injured they might have had a shot at Dwight.

not going to happen.

This article came hours before ESPN broke their story, so it's not like it's a direct rebuttal to the reported deal between Orl and GS.

Solid move.

Don't forget the 1st rounder we gave in that trade. Jesus that was so bad.

The first rounder that amounted to nothing?

you mean the pick that became Nik Mirotic, who is absolutely balling from all reports.

And none of this changes the fact that the trade was **** horrible.

I would like to think Otis can get 4 team trade going for Monta, but I'm not so sure he knows how to count to the number 4. It's a shame we let this guy dictate the Magics future.

This trade has been focused around a multi-team deal since the beginning, no real news here.

Please stop quoting Kyler. He never has anything good to say about the Magic.

I'm pretty sure Otis isn't the one working the phones anymore. That would be Alex Martins.

I know it has an even lower chance of happening .. But if I were Otis, I'd call Boston & see what they'd want in a Rondo deal & try to get some other teams involved

Rondo's a douchebag, but IMO the perfect type of PG to play with Dwight

Still, in the end, I think we're gonna have to settle for smaller changes. Nobody wants our players (excl. Ryan) & nobody wants to help Dwight stay in Orlando .. On the contrary, you have teams like NJ who would trade for everyone we want just so Dwight would leave Orlando

Let's live in fantasyland at Disney. I for one think the Magic DO have assets other teams want. It will take a 3-team deal. Just because it's not a direct trade doesn't mean we don't have the assets to get Nash or Ellis.

My only hope is that of we can't get Dwight help, to not let him walk and get some return (young talent/picks), because if we don't, he will gladly walk over to NY with all of you their assets and the ability to flip Lopez.

If Kyler is so smart, why isn't he a GM. The media never thinks outside the box.

No assets? Have they not **** seen the numbers ryno is putting up this season? Oh that's right they don't give a **** cuz he's not playing for the Knicks. Stupid **** analyst! There are other teams that would love to have Anderson. Get a 3rd team involved.

I think JJ has some value too.

I'm not quoting Kyler for truth, I'm quoting him for discussion purposes to keep us rolling here. For as many people here that share Kyler's views there are others that share the opposite view, including myself.

I agree, I hope JJ and Ryno put up a crazy stat line against the thunder so people can open their eyes and see we do have good trading chips in these two players. I would hate to see them go because they both got heart but we need a player like Ellis real bad.

That's what i don't understand? People keep saying the Magic don't have any 'assets'. Ryan and JJ are very desirable trade pieces. As i said before, a three way trade with New Orleans is possible
