Knickname for the bench

Post#1 » by LameDuck » Thu Mar 1, 2012 4:33 pm

Alan Hahn was asking what we should call our bench.

My favorite suggestion was "The B-side" as the team calls itself the Knickstape.

What do you guys think?

Orlando Magic kinda had that last year. They called themselves the "Bench Mob", but added a extra b to play off of Mobb Deep.

The Ejaculator(s).

Instead of releasing sperm they release tons of energy and scoring.

I like The B-Side.

I remember watching that Utah game with my gf and I was telling her about how they were doing so well without their 2 stars, and she said "well, the B Squad is really fun to watch". After that, during all those games they won without Amare and Melo, we both started referring to the team as The B Squad all the time.

In honor of one of the greatest groups of studio musicians ever assembled (in LA in the 60s), I nominate the 'Wrecking Crew.'

How about we go oldschool (ok not really oldschool but kinda oldish) and use NWO? No? Ok...back to the drawing board.

This is a no-brainer

Blitzkrieg

Breen says "And here comes the Knicks Blitzkreig!" Which is precisely what the bench was against the Cavs. We hit them with everything and fast!

Wiki:

"Through constant motion, the blitzkrieg attempts to keep its enemy off-balance, making it difficult to respond effectively at any given point before the front has already moved on."
Tanking again, I suppose. Is there any other way?

The 'beat your starters'....
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.
