Spurs need a big with size to play with Duncan. It doesn't matter if it is young or a vet (not washed up vets of course)

Right now our front-court is too thin (Duncan/Blair/Splitter/Bonner)

We don't take dumb players or headcases.

We need someone like Antonio Mcdyess. Smart, good defender and can hit the occasional jumper.

What the Spurs can offer :

Gary Neal
Dejuan Blair
1st round pick 2012
Danny Green
Matt Bonner
James Anderson
Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”

Well, can change Knicks to not needing a PG.

For Houston:
For shot term - - a stud SF - Pierce would be nice.
Needs: A star to lead the team - any position. And, for next year, only PG (Lowry), SG (KMart), PF (Scola and PPatt), and C (Daly - partially gaurantee on salary) are surely on the roster. So, absent dealing those guys, still need SF and upgrades at all positions (excpet PG).
Available - Everyone. Lowry is the closest to not available. KMart is not fitting as well as he did with previous coaches and Scola is not either - but both are good players and should have value to other teams. PPatterson is probably rated higher by Rox than other teams (14th pick 2 years ago and showing some promises to be a contributor). MMorris, 14th pick last year is an unknown (great numbers in Dleague but cannot get minutes in Rox). Everyone else is an expiring contract.

Not much has changed for NJ, except we really don't need anything right now. This season is what it is. Either we get Dwight, or we don't. If we don't, a SF isn't going to make a difference this late in the season.

Also, EVERYONE is expandable except for Deron and Humphries (since he can veto a trade).

The only thing we need to do if Dwight isn't traded, is move one of Farmar/Morrow/Petro for an expirer/cap space. Morrow we only move for minor incentive, Farmar we would move for nothing, and Petro we would add minor incentive.

Lakers need a total SF enema. Peace, Barnes, and possibly Ebanks will be gone quite possibly in July with Walton gone if LA can trade him as an expirer. Their SF play is worst in the league. I think you should add that to the LA list. SG seems to look better with Goudelock showing he can give Kobe a solid 12 minute rest.

The Nets SF position has been much worse. D.James out for season, Shawne W. out for season and awful when he was playing, Stevenson hobbling on bad knees and missing time, etc.

I'm going Sac. Salmons, Outlaw and Greene?

For comparison purposes, 82games lists the positional production as:

LAL: 9.5 PER 12.8 PPG on 43% efg... opponent 11.6 PER
NJN: 11.2 PER 17.2 PPG on 48% efg... opponent 17.7 PER
SAC: 9.9 PER 15.4 PPG on 43% efg... opponent 16 PER

Can we undo the T-Will trade?

We would consider it. Do you know if Ilyasova is going back to Europe after this season no matter what ? If he is willing to resign here in San Antonio i would do it.

Atlanta needs a good young Center to play alongside Horford for at least a couple of years.
On the Block: pretty much everyone except Al Horford (trading Horford would defeat the purpose). I guess the most attractive trading chip would be Josh Smith.

Ilyasova has stated he will sign with whoever gives him the most money...

via Hoopsworld (Feb. 10)... http://www.hoopsworld.com/ersan-ilyasov ... ean-demand

When I look at it I have to remember that it’s a business,” said Ilyasova. “Some teams overseas wanted to buyout my contract but I wanted to finish this season in the NBA. This is where I want to be right now, but we will see what happens in the future. Financially, whoever pays me more will be the team that I decide to sign with.

The notSonics need to...
- get Ibaka more involved in the offense,
- figure out if Aldrich can play,
- accelerate Jackson's development,
- ask Perkins to play better instead of scowling & getting T'd up,
- pray Cook is making his 3s come playoff time &
- cornrow Harden's beard.
notSonics 2016
Starters - Trey, Roberson, KD, Ibaka, Adams
Rotation - Payne, Waiters, Green, McGary, Kanter
Bench - Collison, Christon, Brodgon, Huestis
Stash - Johnson, Abrine
Cut - Morrow
Trade - Singler
Draft - Brogdon
FA - Green

the blazers need to make up their mind as to what they are trying to accomplish.

if they are trying to win now, then they need to go all-in on a trade for a player like nash.

if they are trying to win later, then they need to trade the expirings of felton/camby/crawford/wallace for win-later pieces and rebuild around aldridge and batum.

if they're trying to be a fringe playoff team, then look into resigning their free agents... except felton. **** that guy.

HartfordWhalers wrote:Portland: Long term a starting Center. An experienced backup Pg. Could move one of Batum/Wallace for the center.

backup point guard? was there a trade where portland acquired a starting point guard that I am unaware of?

kdawg32086 wrote:Portland Trailblazers

Needs
Veteran point guard. Not a huge need but the team could benefit from having a second experienced PG on the roster.

crawford is not a point guard. he's a shooting guard playing the point due to the blazers having no better options. this causes him to not play up to his potential, and causes fans to blame him for sucking despite being put in a bad situation.

^^ Yeah, my summary was based off that quote, but Portland would seem to be a prime example of a team that now has much different production from a position (starting pg) then originally planned. I will make a fully updated list off what everyone has said today.
