Seems like a low risk potentially high gain opportunity! Jazz could structure the contract in such a way as to protect themselves as long as they didn't need to take on his old salary, because of some crazy CBA rule.

Not to mention, it would be a nice slap in the face to Portland for stealing Wesley Mathews.

You don't have to pay the whole thing, he can sign for the minimum and the blazers have the pay the difference (but it doesn't count against the cap). I think.... thats what happened to chauncey right? It might be worth it just to give them the finger for poaching our players.

Plus as a seattle guy, I just like Broy and would like to see him get paid. It's not like Paul Allen would even notice.
