Oh, no Q tonight.

That means Liggins is gonna get some time on Harden and KD :-o

Stan also admitted that his guys are definitely aware and thinking about the trades. It's definitely on their minds...

Hopefully we can just focus and play when on the court, and worry later.

That's great! for a young guy to be doing this is pretty amazing. he's going to be a special defender if he keeps working and studying the way he does.

Heck yeah, that's what I'm talking about right there... 8-)

Loved the fact he came in early to do his homework. Shows that he is going to do whatever it takes to shine on this team.

Some hope:
The Thunder franchise hasn't won a game visiting the Magic since March 13, 2004, when the team was based in Seattle.

Yes. He's a naturally sound defender.

I've also seen him run around out there like a chicken with his head chopped off. Looks great 1 v 1, but he sometimes looks lost when he's off-the-ball. The first possession last night that he played, he ran to three different places before he found the guy he was supposed to be on...it was a wide open three point shooter (forget who, Crawford maybe) and they sunk the shot.

He's got great defensive instincts and fundamentals, but I'm not sold he fully understands the scheme. I mean, SVG doesn't run a simple defense, and Liggins probably has had only a handful of full practices all year to learn it. Hopefully we does well tonight, this is just gonna be a big test.

Best way to learn is to get burn in a real game. Kid has to be doing something right with Earl already here. Last year Clark actually did a decent job on Durant IIRC..I distinctly remember Kevin getting bailed out on a couple plays. Liggins looks sound defensively his spacing, the way he moves his feet, his rotations need to improve but thats common in Stans system so Im not worried about it.

They say "the greatest teacher is experience". the way I look at it is if he screws up today, next game he'll look at what he did and fix it. it's much easier to do that than waiting an entire year on the bench THEN doing and learning from your mistakes LATER...
