Yup I love Biyombo. that cat covers ground like 3 players combined.. he def got clear game changing defensive ability - you don't see that everyday, surely not from a teenager.. if he keeps on working and wanting to learn this kid will be fantastic.

if the lolcats keep the tank up and get anthony davis...
Davis/Biyombo front court could be a terror on defense.

I think if they get Davis they should look to move Biyombo+ for Lamb. You don't need both.

As a Bucks/Jennings fan I feel your pain.

Yeah that was ridiculous. That being said hes the perfect player for Toronto sports fans: extremely limited skill set, lots of HUSTLE (aka HES A WINNER!)

BC had to know his job was safe to pick Val. It would have been too risky not to. That's the kind of pick you make when you first become GM. Not when you've been in the lottery and will be for the next few seasons. It was definitely the right pick though.
Didn't BC get his extension before the draft? Either way, I don't think a draft pick in a draft that wasn't going to see play for 6 months (at the least) would've been a make or break thing. I doubt Kemba was his pick if he was on the bubble for an extension.

Toronto fans (like Philly fans more than anyone else) love the hustle but we don't exactly fall in love with the crappy players. Reggie Evans hustled and we loved his boards but we didn't exactly cheer his terrible offense. Kemba sucks, we would've cheered his hustle for weeks but booed the crap out of his poop shooting.
Plus, he's way worse than Boy Bay who can atleast shoot and pass decently.

36% though man. thats just flat out ridiculous.
Who was the 2nd worst btw? surely Jennings 37%? (speaking of which btw it seems his back to his old self after the promising start early on)

I dont think so. Jennings is super quick with a top notch handle. Thats one skill that he has above most of the league. Kemba has no such top 5 skill for him to rely/fall back on which is huge in regards to overall potential

Re: Kemba Walker on pace for Historic Season
Bobcat fan here. Prepare for the hell
Paul Gorge is a 6'10 tweener SG and Derozan is terrible. Now that we got that out of the way we can discuss Kemba and his FG%.
I'm a big Kemba fan and I still believe he will be an above average player in this league. I was also one of the posters that thought he would win ROY and I admit I was wrong. I had high expectations for Kemba and so far he is not reaching them. Kemba is terrible at shooting right now. He clearly has trouble finishing at the rim due to his height and that forces him to take to many mid range jumpers of the dribble. He is really inconsistent with his jumpers. There will be a few jumpers every game where he shows nice form and gives you hope but then there are too many where his feet aren't set, or he is falling to a side a bit ect. His first, second and last thing to do in the summer is shoot as may jumpers as possible with a shooting coach.
But it is not all his fault. He is still learning how to be a PG as his FG% rises when he plays with DJ. And sometimes it's just hard to tell if he is struggling to be a PG or his teammates are just so awful he currently can't be one. If you watched some Bobcats games this season you would see that too many times the play that coach Silas draws up isn't executed properly and then with 6 sec on the shot clock the ball comes out to Kemba and he has to take a bad shot. The problem is Bobcats offense sucks. With the lineup we have they should try to run more (area where Kemba is the most efficient). Also there is nobody playing in the low post except Biyombo who is to raw offensively to be a factor. All Big man wan't to play pick and pop, nobody really rolls to the basket. It's also easier for help defenders to come when Kemba penetrates as nobody fights for a good position under the basket.
I don't know what is the norm to qualify for the worst FG % ever but I don't get why you **** all over Kemba when he isn't even the worst on Bobcats rooster. Maggette shoots 35,3%, Tyrus Thomas is at 34,3%, Matt Carrol is at 34%, Cory Higgins is at 33% and Diop is at 28,1%. And DJ Augustin, Diaw and Reggie Williams all hover around 40%. If you look at our veterans Diaw, Maggs, Carrol and TT they are all shooting a career low. You can look at the box scores all year long and laugh at Kembas shooting numbers, but if you watch a Bobcat game you would know that players just don't get the ball in the spots to make shoots and it's all in the TANK.

Also, another hit to the argument of "If you're on a bad team you can just stat pad."

I like both rookies but those numbers are atrocious. They need a lot of work on their scoring production to become big names in this league.

You can pad your counting stats, but your efficiency will tend to suffer. Most people seem to be pretty clear on that relationship.

I had to check that out as well. WOW.
Should the title be changed to Kemba and Rubio on Pace for Historic Season.
