Donatas is way more fluid with his post moves

But it is amazing how much Jonas improved on his move arsenal.

show me some in game highlights.. not some dude working out by himself.. *shakes head*

Those are impressive no doubt. But it looks to me like he is going to get a lot of those shots blocked in the NBA. For a guy that big the ball sure comes off his hand low on a lot of shots. (Say from 1:45 on there's a bunch like that.) Jonas takes it hard to the hole every time from what I've seen. Can't see that happening with him. Still, Donat is definitely very smooth.

If these 4 examples are your support of his fluidity, you have epically failed.

Three of the 4 examples were identical moves that showed no post presence on the defensive end. The 4rth example he made a move into the middle and showed and ugly hook.

I see nothing here that would make me believe he has a better post game than Val. Furthermore, your highlight reel shows him making nothing but open J's and fast break points with little to no defensive resistance.

Those turnovers are killing me. Pulled a ''Songaila'' pass again, my goodness...

Donatas is too quick to get blocked easily, but yes, those are the exact same moves. He also likes to do that 1:37 move, and usually draws a foul, but then he fails to do that, that move usually goes nowhere... He has so much talent, but it looks he cant completely figure it out. Every time I watch him play, I see Charlie Villanueva clone. He is no go.

good to see the coach holds Valanciunas accountable. Too bad I could care little about this game if he's not on the floor.

Donuts going to be fine in the NBA... I see a lot of Bargnani in him. Not a lot of big men can do what he can.

Tasty dunk on the break at 1:50. lebronesque!

Still can't believe some (or was it one) thought Val's athleticism was inferior to Biedrins, who NEVER displayed dunking ability that was anywhere near as consistent or impressive as Jonas has been showing us.

Jonas's jump hook is money - so quick and so hard to contest. Loved the way he used it to lift his defender and make that little shovel pass.

Finally, I just like his face and his persona. He looks strong but caring, honorable but amiable, passionate but humorous. He not simply good looking, though he is; he has the face of someone you'd want to be friends with AND someone you'd want to take into battle. This is a function of his face in concert with his personality but whatever the combination, it's going to serve him well in the NBA. Part of what makes Jeremy Lin so special is how he looks and the way he conducts his persona on and off the court and I think Jonas will be on this end of the spectrum - a likable leader if you will.

that pass at 2:57 was nice

runs the floor very well for his height and age already

give him some time to grow into his body and this kid will be chandler 2.0 with a jump hook

I definitely see a lot of similarity to where Timofey Mozgov is now. I think JV will equal his output for his first season somewhere around 6 pts and 6 rebs with a 1.5 blocks. I say this mainly because he does foul a lot which will limit him to 18-20 mins per game, plus he will need to adjust to the strength, athleticism and length of the NBA. Mozgov is very similar as a pick and roll player, but JV does hit his freethrows so maybe he'll be a bit better, but like Mozgov they are coming from Europe which is a different system. Mozgov played for Khimki, which is a pretty good team that did compete in the Euroleague.
