On one hand I want to see the Warriors get killed just so they might be more tempted to make a trade.

But with Philly ahead of us in the standings, seeing them lose is always nice.

UGH WHO DO I CHEER FOR?

Well as long as philly leads their division it wont matter if we have a better record, we will be behind them

actually division leaders are slotted to have one of the top 4 seeds in either conference. So if we had a better overall record over Philly and if the Bulls+Heat are the top 2 seeds, the Magic can be #3 in the east.

I stand corrected.

Have GSW hold Monta out and still blowout Philly.

New trade scenarios ie guesses that we've not discussed here...None of them involve us getting Ellis.

lol that ESPN column is a joke, ROFL at the Houston trade for Dwight.
I'm ready to get Nashty tho
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏ @WojYahooNBA
Atlanta did express an interest to Boston about Ray Allen or Kevin Garnett, but purely exploratory conversations, sources said.

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏ @WojYahooNBA
Atlanta doesn't want to move Josh Smith for an expiring deal, and Boston isn't trading those players for the likes of Marvin Williams.

Anything going on between Boston and Atlanta is going to wind up sending Rondo to Atl.

Dwight Howard would reportedly be unwilling to sign a contract extension with the Lakers.
Apparently Dwight said that to his agent, and if true it would essentially rule out the Lakers in a trade scenario.

idk how most of you will feel about this but im all for it, since dwight is basically gone why not ship him off to L.A. in return for bynum and gasol and dump a bad contract or two on them, and then go out and get your hands on monta. a monta bynum duo would be pretty sick

plus they are both really young its something we could build off of, plus bynum has plenty of upside being that he is only 24, that is if he can stay healthy.

just a thought guys lemme know what you think.

Howard's agent Dan Fegan said earlier this week that Howard, who has approved the Dallas Mavericks, New Jersey Nets and Los Angeles Lakers as potential destinations, would not sign an extension with the Lakers, though that decision would largely be a financial one and not have much of an effect on the Lakers' efforts to retain Howard beyond this season should they trade for him.

He doesn't want to play for the Lakers that has been clear for a long time

I'm just posting what's been reported on, you're allowed believe what you want.

Commitment or not, I'm still willing to deal Bynum/Gasol to Orl. I'm sure he isn't completely against LA or LA wouldn't still be on his list.

Also one less team that Dwight would like to go to instead of the Magic. Feels like his desire to go to the Nets is cooling off a little, and Dallas is going after Deron. There's different ways to look at it all.
