Commitment or not, I'm still willing to deal Bynum/Gasol to Orl. I'm sure he isn't completely against LA or LA wouldn't still be on his list.

I get you. I'd do this trade if it was clear he wasn't staying. but I'd try to get Wade or LeBron, or call the Knicks for Melo and Chandler first.

Also one less team that Dwight would like to go to instead of the Magic. Feels like his desire to go to the Nets is cooling off a little, and Dallas is going after Deron. There's different ways to look at it all.

Optimism is largely frowned upon here. But I like your line of thought 8-)

He only stays if Otis can improve this team. That has to happen first. Then I'll be optimistic.

Definitely. I don't know about getting Wade or LeBron, but if Melo and Chandler are available then you can't get any better than that. I appreciate your kindness to an outsider compared to the rudeness your peers have displayed.

Wonder if the Magic added the Lakers to the list without Dwight wanting to go there just in hopes they could get Bynum/Gasol in return. Maybe Dwight didn't even have them on his list.

Yup. I have no problem talking about the Dwight situation at all. I personally don't care. yeah we'd be mediocre again, but that doesn't change how much I love the Magic.

Can you please leave! Nobody wants Bynum over her. His knees look like they are about to shatter when he's running up and down the court.

Sessions is getting a start tonight for the Cavs so tune in with free League Pass & check him out.

Just showed his numbers as a starter & he's averaging close to 19 points & 13 assists this year.

so are you.
He does not want to play for the Lakers
The Lakers WERE on the list, but Dwight and his camp did their homework and do not want to be there anymore.

I would take that deal but the Lakers would be foolish he does not want to play for Jim Buss!
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

Honestly, I bet he would stay.

I think he's trying to discourage a trade there, because it's not his first choice. But I still think he would resign.

No I think it has more to do with Dwights agent finding out the Lakers upper management is a mess right now, they pretty much cleaned house and Jim Buss is in charge...also Kobe obviously didn't help things

http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/story/_/ ... ndo-traded

Ok so from this. . .(don't know how accurate, so take it for what you will but)

"Chris Kaman, C

Kaman will almost certainly be moved. New Orleans has no use for him and simply wants to get something -- even if it's just a second-round draft pick -- for him, according to sources. A month ago, when the Hornets told Kaman to stay home and wait to be traded, they were asking for a young player, a draft pick and an expiring contract. Now, their aspirations aren't so lofty. Golden State, Houston and Miami have interest in Kaman."

So. . . how about this?

And if that isn't good enough we'd still have ryno, reddick and picks to sweeten it. . .

So if Monta is putting up good numbers on a bad team whats this considered?

Not bad. May need to sweeten the deal for NO to take Meer like add Clark and maybe switch out Harper for Duhon. Or, Orton somewhere.

If Ellis comes here it will be in a trade that involves Kaman and Biedrins and possibly Ariza depending on how much we give up. IMO

I don't know how legit this guy is... but a quick look-up seems to tell me he reports sports news and he interviews athletes and celebrities in the PA area for comcast sports network.

Spoke to Warriors coach Marc Jackson...told me nothing to trade rumors of Monta Ellis....wants him to stay with Golden State...
