Can people get away with making a stereotype about other non-white races on this board?

Steve Nash is a white, NOT EUROPEAN, but white 2-time MVP of the league. He was a pretty good asset.

Only because the double-standard on racial comments in this world is ridiculous. Are the majority of white non-Euro NBA players probably on average worse than the other players in the league? Probably (although Nash, Love, Lin, Ryno, and a few others might have something to say about it). Definitely in the past especially. It's improving a bit recently though. The real issue is that you could NEVER say something about any other race being inferior in any way and get away with it. Whether it be less educated, less athletic, shorter, slower, whatever. Hypocrisy.

Hell....Ben and Jerry made a flavor to honor Jeremy Lin recently that had fortune cookies as an ingredient (which are an Asian food item, Jeremy Lin is of Asian descent...that's not a racist move - it's simply a linkage)....and they had to recall it and apologize and do this whole ridiculous jump-through-hoop routine. It's stupid. If you made a Dirk flavor and put some pretzels in there, would everyone go apes**t? Course not.

Most of us wanted to trade for Ellis and Nash since last year, so I don't know why you bragging about wanting to trade for them over the summer?

Doesn't put into effort. Rebounding is all about (what my coach back in highschool used to say) having the "Want-to" to do it. No reason why a 7ftr can't average at least 8 rebs per game

I suggested trading Dwight+Ryan for Ellis+Lee straight up? Ever? Show me that if I did. It won't let me search, so I can't check. You specifically quoted my original post on this issue saying that I had been suggesting to go after these two specific guys from before this season began. So it does matter the timing of when you are claiming I did/said these things. Anyways, I don't typically have much love for your opinion, so that is what that is.

I mean, it's pretty obvious. The majority of the stars in the league are black. End of story. There's no hiding that. And there's nothing wrong with that. That's life. All races are different. But like I said, if you are going to be able to make observations and then stereotypically place them alongside a race, then the white, non-Euro subset shouldn't be the only one that you can get away with doing that with.

That would be like somebody saying: "It's pretty bad if the CEO of your Fortune-500 company is black" because there aren't a lot of black CEO's of Fortune-500 companies. You could never get away with saying that.
