J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate

Only if Dwight says he will opt in prefer for him to sign extension before we trade anderson
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

Yeah, if Boston really wanted Nelson and Anderson, I'd rather just get Rondo. Perhaps Phoenix would be throwing in a pick or two?

Dwight to ny - why not

Post#1347 » by Mrrags009 » Sat Mar 3, 2012 5:52 am

Can anyone explain to me why D the Ho hasn't added Ny to his "list"? The deal makes sense for all sides if the rumors of melo chandler for Dwight Turk are true or have any legs I think it will work for everyone...
Dwight - gets his big market, renovated garden (like new arena ,plus it the worlds most famous arena),he doesn't have to carry the load hell have Lin,Amare,Smith and fields, plus Bd,he wants that big time Adidas money no better place than ny to get it, from a basketball view he'd fit great being the truly dominant player on that team in the middle, amare would be playin from 15 ft out Dwight locks down the middle
Melo/chandler - more than above average fill ins for magic to replace Dwight, melo perfect on this team cuz he can score whenever he wants to because he'd be the best offensive weapon, chandler fills Dwight's defensive void pretty decent, both players under contract for the next few years and magic still stay competitive
Ny Knicks - 2 reasons 1) flip melo whose struggling with lin for the most dominant big in the league, dwight can cover amares mistakes and commands a double which is good for the shooter of ny ,plus he plays a lil d lol, 2) Dwight as a knick means that he's not a net,the Knicks want to stay relevant by all means and would hate to even temporarily lose their shine to the nets because of the move to bk,also on a ball level no Dwight to nets means no dwill either this would really make sure the Knicks stay on top.

Please share your thought ... If magic have any sense or Knicks have any sense they make this happen (I'm not a melo or Tyson fan but the more I think about Dwight leaving the more this makes sense to me as opposed to having no cap room and no star)

Say Dwight agrees to sign an extension if we get Ellis? When exactly does he sign it? During the season or after it is over?

I think the most we'll get from Dwight is that he'll opt in for next season and we'll have to go through this rumor mess for another year while he decides if Ellis turned out to be enough....

He has till June 30th to pick up his option or he could opt out and then be able to resign with us in the summer for 5 years.

That's BS if that ends up being the case.

Edit: I don't think that's a good business decision though. God forbid, but he could get injured during that one year...

Frye is now 2-18 but has 13 boards. Very wary of that guy in a trade.

He doesn't charactetistically shoot that bad, though.

And he can stretch a defense whilst also grabbing boards and blocking shots. He'd be a decent value replacement for Anderson if we had to move Ryno - whether it's for Nash OR Ellis.

I would love having melo on the team but seriously doubt it happens.

I'm getting word a deal will be going down tomorrow early in the afternoon. The framework is still being worked on but here are the main players.

ORL recv: David Lee, S-Jax, Monta Ellis, and Charles Jenkins

MIL recv: Biedrins, Curry, 1st

GS recv: Bogut, Hedo, Meer, J-Rich

My sources are telling me if this falls through Otis will attempt to relocate the franchise to Vegas and sign Gilbert Arenas.

GST would be off loading their bad contracts and basically trading their discombobulated back court for a premiere defensive anchor while banking that the now unpopular Dwight supporting cast can get back their magic. This idea has legs.

Mil offloads the toxic SJax while trading the defensive anchor they never have for an offensive dynamo in Curry, while receiving a 1st and Biedrins, who could fit nicely with Skiles culture. Curry will open up their offense, but how will he coexist with Jennings?

Orlando acquires Ellis without moving Redick or Anderson. Get Howard fav SJax while adding Lee to the rotation, hopefully signaling the end for Baby. If SVG starts Lee over Anderson I'll go ape.

Anyway, not saying this isn't Jareth trolling, but this actually makes sense in a lot of ways.

That's on the coach for letting him shoot that much. Should've been reigned in ages ago.
