Richard Hamilton or Corey Maggette?

Post#1 » by nbaallstr5 » Tue Feb 28, 2012 7:01 am

Kyle Lowry
Dorell Wright
Isaiah Thomas
Nicolas Batum
Serge Ibaka
DeJuan Blair
Pau Gasol
Kemba Walker
Mike Conley
Corey Maggette

14 man league. I am 1st in the league at the moment. I am in need of rebounds because Horford got injured so I picked up Maggette hoping he would rebound but he wont help all that much.

I still need SCORING because only Gasol, Lowry and Batum are putting up decent points for me.

So what do guys think? Should I go for Hamilton or just keep my team?

Rip easily. He's coming back from injury in a few days, and Maggette is washed up with low FG% and high TO's. Also, Rip will give you more pts than Maggette when healthy.

By the way what about Dorell Wirght? Should I hang on to him? He has been on and off. For the most parts missing his 3s.

someone in my league dropped Stephen Jackson. Does anyone know what's the deal with him?

Does he have any value when hes healthy because apparently he was not getting minutes I heard. But the games he did get minutes he was doing fine.

I'd take Maggette over Hamilton. Maggette's shoots a high volume and percentage in Free throws so that's a boon for any team. Although his FG% has been horrendous this year.

In regards to Jackson, IF he gets traded he could have some value. But if he stays on the Bucks... hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel...

Isaiah Thomas has been playing well but last 2 games not so much. You guys think he hit his rookie wall already? Or will he bounce back since he is starting at PG.

Because I have George Hill and Marco Belinelli as options to pick up. I'll see how Hill performs tonight against Atlanta.

Apathy I just read your post in another thread saying you rank Isaiah Thomas higher than Diaw (available as well) and Belinelli obviously. But what about George Hill then? He seems to have found his touch and has scored well last couple games.

I'd take Thomas over the guys you mentioned. J-Rich second.

No Hamilton, he has been terrible. He will not be healthy. Also find the guy inn your league who has quit. See if he will trade one of his assets.
Plus how big is your league?

14 man league. I can try trading ppl but I can't trade Conely, Ibaka or Lowry away. Just because these guys win steals and blocks categories for me single handedly.

I picked up Evan Turner plus im also thinking of picking up hawes for dorell as he has been inconsistent all year and his coach only played him 10 mins last game after he missed just one 1 shot. You guys think Hawes is worth picking? He will play March 14 game. I am in need of rebounds so Turner will help there and Hawes too will help if I pick him up.

Hawes is going to have his minutes limited and isn't going to play in b2bs. He'll be a huge headache to own.
