couple trades I do
Lets assume we cant get Rondo now; Heres 2 trades that make sense for all the teams.
#1 Harris and Bell for Felton and Wes Matthews
#2 Miles and Howard for Odom, Beubois, plus future #1
Jazz lineup:
Felton Watson Tinsley
Matthews Burks Beubois
Jefferson Kanter Favors
Millsap Favors Evans Carrol
Hayward Odom Evans Carrol
Trade #1: Jazz get their SG back home and try out Felton for the rest of the season. Hes an expiring contract so not much risk there. Even though Harris is playing well now, I still dont think hes our PG of the future. Portland is desparate for a PG and Matthews is now just a bench player for them. Bell replaces Matthews as a bench player.
Trade #2: Mavs definitely do it as they clear out cap space for the summer to sign both DWILL and Orlando's Howard. They also get pieces that can help their playoff run this season while getting rid of their headache Odom. Jazz continue to stockpile talent and picks. I really like Beubois and Odom maybe be revitalized in Utah. It allows the Jazz this summer to look at getting their PG (ie someone like Rondo) with all the picks and talent that they can offer the Celticsor some other team that has a PG.

Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

Portland would laugh at the #1 trade and hang up.
Of course that would be good.

Re: couple trades I do
not true, Felton is playing terrible, and in this season Mathews also is playing much worst than last year, for the first time im thinking that KoC did not make mistake by not signing him last summer. And what a dumb idea of giving devin and raja, now when they are starting to play really good.Hoops Addict wrote:Portland would laugh at the #1 trade and hang up.

Yes, Portland would laugh. Mathews is having an off year, but he is still far better than Harris or Raja.
Way way way over valuing our guys! Dallas isn't going to give us a first for taking two superior players off their hands. Yes, Both Odom and Roddy are better than CJ and Howard. No way they give us a future pick too! Replace Roddy with Marion or Haywood and maybe Dallas starts thinking about it.

Felton is a ery good and productyive player....and I hear the Portland fans saying he is awful and they want to trade him. Still, a good player having a bad year is obtainable at a discount. Felton is great in the right system.
Matthews had a lot of 30 point games last year and is very good. I want him back.
Portland wont trade Matthews.
I offer Devin for Felton straight up.

Re: couple trades I do
Here are a few I would do.
First I move Al Jefferson:
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=7dq37gq
Gives the Jazz a good wing player while clearing space for the young bigs.
Then I'd flip CJ into a decent PG:

Finally I ship Devin Harris off for some outside shooting:

It's easy! Why is KOC such a terrible GM? He lacks the ability to make BOLD moves like THESE!!!!

I like how swapping Raja Bell for Kevin Love is only worth 4 wins.

We would need to get more back than just LeBron, if we are giving up Big Al. Miami would need to throw in a future 1st. LeBron is such a ball hog!
