Who'd that, who wouldn't?
What would be your thoughts in general?

Warriors definitely will. Magic will. Lakers? No. They don't want Lee contract, they can get much better for Pau Gasol. Lee is a good player, but his contract kills his trade value.

Actually, when i posted this GSW was my biggest question, not LAL. This deal is good for LAL in my books. Not only do they get a really good replacement in Lee, who's still a very good player that is underrated because of his contract, but they also make their PG and SF positions much stronger.
I thought, it's more about GSW wanting/not wanting old, expensive Gasol for Ellis/Wright/Lee, 3 of their starters.
Well, my trade didn't get a lot of feedback anyways.

No one said he was getting absorbed for cap space. But a deal similar to what Houston offered last year (Brad Miller/Thabeet) with two deals is still possible. With around $10 mil in cap this summer, Biedrens isn't hurting the team to the point of handing Ellis to someone just to get rid of him

Yeah, Warriors won't do it. Lakers offered them something similiar when Stern vetoed the Paul deal hoping to use some Warriors pieces to get the deal through. Warriors declined

What's more appealing?

Dwight/Hedo/Davis FOR Monta/Lee/Kwame(Expiring)/Brandon Rush(Expiring)

We rid our worst contracts and get an exciting youngin to help our tank, along with expirings.

OR

Dwight/Hedo FOR Lopez/Brooks/8th-13th Draft Pick

GS isn't really as bad as some say

They'd like to, and believe they're in the mix if the Magic make a deal. But they're fine in a Monta deal to help Orlando keep Howard, but there better be a long-term defensive rebounding C option coming back

Can you think of specific bigs besides Howard that the Warriors have been linked to or are interested in

The three you hear the most by Warriors "insiders" are Bogut, McGee (probably need more in a Monta deal as he's an option in FA, but having his Bird Rights don't hurt) or Bynum

The truth is that nobody on here is part of any Management for any team so people saying "we will/wont do this or that" means nothing. I'm hoping we get Monta but do i believe it will happen? No, But it is the only thing we got right now. Last year we were banking on Gil as our only hope, obviously that didn't work out. Speaking of that wouldn't Rashard be expiring 2013? if so we should've just kept him and amnestied somebody else...

Anyways, Go Magic

And VC's contract was an expiring as well (that was a good trade chip) that could have been paired with Gortat to get someone like CP3... Otis pulled off the worst panic trade in history.

- Dwight has been pushing for Sjax and Monta
- Golden State wants too much, still working on a deal
- Everybody is asking about Ryan but the Magic don't really want to deal him
- Something may happen as early as Sunday
- Dwight made his requests and is simply waiting to see if they get done

Just got that information from a friend of mine. Pretty basic but that's all he knows right now. I'll get more after the game if he hears anything

Pretty much, The last good move he made was for Rafaer. We did get Ryno in that trade for V.C. but i dont consider that good cuz V.C. disappeared in the playoffs. And on that note i like Ryno as a guy and player but HE IS NOT UNTOUCHABLE. Ryno is perfectly suited to play with a player like Dwight who will command a double and Ryan will get a open 3. When there's no low post presence Ryno is lost, i think its been proven (atleast right now) he has ZERO low post moves.

All im saying is that Ryno should not be Untouchable because if Dwight leaves he WILL NOT be the same player he is right now and we'll be forced to resign him cuz he's loved by the fans. Quote me on that one.

I feel like something will go down somewhere between next Sunday (11th) up till the actual deadline

Thanks for the info

I think Ryan can improve quite a bit so that he can be independent from Dwight... but he is not a 1st option on any team... I agree with what you're saying for the most part... I would trade Ryan for someone like (for example) Ellis in a heartbeat. He is Not untouchable imo.
