3D on NBATV wondering why the Magic stopped going to Dwight. Says they should have gotten Dwight up to 8,9,10 dunks before going to someone else.

Ish Smith makes a top 10 play ... at #9 with the fast break fast to a Earl who dunks it

I don't see Duhon on this list

Stan is (Please Use More Appropriate Word). Ish cannot possibly play worse than duhon if given the minutes.

I really one of the big problems with our 2nd unit is a lack of plays and a lack of practice time. We are out of position with Davis there and play a different skill set of players than our starting unit, so the plays we run in the 1st unit don't work with our 2nd unit. It's taken the starters months to get things rolling smoothly it could take the 2nd unit years to figure things out.

And you wonder why Orlando cannot upgrade their roster. I truly believe we have the worst bench out of any playoff team in the NBA. And that includes you alls beloved Ish and Liggins

I often said that Stan was a top coach in this league, but I honestly don't know anymore. He refuses to make adjustments and thinks these guys will suddenly begin playing above their heads.

A bench lineup of Doo-hon/JJ/Q (Liggins, Wafer)/Clark/Baby is just not going to get it done. We'll be one and done in the playoffs regardless whether or not we acquire Ellis/Nash.

I don't care if you had Michael Jordan on the second unit. When Duhon is turning it over and giving the ball to bbd with 5 to shoot you're going to suck.

The Orlando Magic have the strongest bench and the deepest team in the NBA for 2010-2011.

PG: Chris Duhon

SG: J.J. Redick

SF: Quentin Richardson

PF:Ryan Anderson/Brandon Bass

C: Marcin Gortat

The Bulls tried their very hardest to pry J.J. Redick from the Magic, but Otis Smith did not budge. Redick is a fantastic shooter that is arguably better than Vince Carter right now, but will still be coming off the bench for the time being.

Chris Duhon has started at point guard for the Bulls and the Knicks, so to have him coming off the bench is tremendous for the Magic. Duhon has always been a smart player who can pass and score well, and he's even more savvy now that's he has been in the league for several years.

Orlando stole Quentin Richardson from Miami, which was a sneaky move that helped the Magic and weakened the Heat at the same time. Last season he shot 40 percent from three-point range, which makes him right at home with the rest of Orlando's lineup.

Ryan Anderson is the same way. He plays behind Rashard Lewis in a similar manner, shooting 37 percent from beyond the arc and standing at 6'10". Marcin Gortat has proven in the past he can step in and eat up minutes when Dwight Howard is in foul trouble, and he will continue to play that important role this season.

People seem to be forgetting the Magic when it comes to potential Eastern Conference champions. Miami is certainly the favorite, but I'd choose Orlando over Boston any day.

There you have it. The best and worst benches in the NBA.

This is from 2012, Magic/Hawks are honorable mentions in top 5 benches in the NBA...putting us at 6 or 7th according to them.

The Magic bench, while looking great on paper, aren't as good as one would think. When their bench comes in the game, they lack the scoring production that it would seem they would have. While the team scores an average of 94.2 points a game, the bench lowers that average to 72 points a game according to NBA.com.

I think Stan plays Duhon for business purposes. He's not a dumb guy completely oblivious to how bad he is. But if we were to completely bench Duhon, how would that help his trade value? We have to play him in order for other teams to even consider him.

Playing him sure doesn't increase his trade value.

Playing him sure doesn't increase his trade value.

And if we sat him completely? Basically just telling other teams he has no worth to their team? I'm not saying I agree with playing Duhon, but I could see politics behind the decision.

Didn't someone post that Duhon's last year of his contract is unguaranteed? Did anyone confirm?

I don't think it's a theory... it's a fact imo
