Plus they have David Lee who pretty much makes Anderson as a trade piece useless. I just didn't get why nobody could see that

Because we could've traded them Anderson FOR Lee, he's much much MUCH cheaper than Lee... but GS FO is terrible, and that's why they've been stuck in mediocrity, and they will stay there as long as their owner and GM are there......

only cheaper for this season..they're going to have to pay him at the end of the year anyways so its redundant for them.

Anderson is probably only going to get around 8mil. the Warriors overpayed Lee like crazy for so many years, and whether they have him or not, they will still suck. at least with Anderson, if he asks for too much, you let him walk... then you clear a whole lot of capspace.

No one hopeful because of Nelson's resurgence? Does it allow us to address other weaknesses in our team or increase trade possibilities?

yes... that could work... but I just flat out think no one is going to help us no matter what (even if our guys are playing out of their minds and increasing their value)... they are going to give Otis the middle finger until the deadline.

No. Nelson's problem is his inconsistency and until he can prove it, we'll all continue to feel less of him; as will other GMs. Besides, with Otis' man-crush on Jameer, i'd be surprised to see him going anywhere. Unfortunately.

Any rumor I hear, I always think it's one side or the other trying to drive up the value of a player.

Orlando wants Ellis for JRich/Jameer/Baby
GS says: "look, we can get Ellis for Joe Johnson; 3-time all-star. come better than old JRich, injured Jameer, and fat boy"

Yep. it's starting to look like this is our team going into the playoffs..... we're gonna have to hope our team starts getting better and hopefully make a run in the playoffs.... but, we still have 11 days left till the deadline, so you never know.

I know some people are gonna disagree with this cause his contract is trash, but, I hope the Hawks don't deal Johnson for Ellis. I would like Johnson here, he could be a nice 2nd option.

All the more excuse to hear Otis say "I like this team" when he fails to find a trade partner. . .

Than we can steal both Monta and Smoove when they become FA in '13. 8-)

So, whatever happened to Wilson Chandler? did he sign an offer sheet with another team before Thursday? or can he only talk with the Nuggets now?

He did not. He is trying to get a 1 yr deal from the Nuggets and feels like they're shortchanging him cause they're the only team bidding. Sounds like he'd rather sit than pass up free agency this summer.

GS: *answers ringing phone* "Hello?"
Otis: Hey, it's me again.
GS: Oh... uhh
Otis: Look, I know you guys are going after Joe Johnson and Josh Smith.
Otis: But I will one up their offer... Along with Ryan Anderson, I'll throw in Chris Duhon and Q-Rich... what do you say?
GS: ... *click*
Otis: Hello? ... He'll call back. *troll smiles* I like this team. *stares out into the distance*

Well, being that we have seen tweets and reports that teams are not willing to do much trades with ORL for what ever reason, maybe we play the season out and then if Dwight's gone just do a sign and trade with a team of his choice.
